Heat added - excellent price - but I would be amazed if it lasts over a year.

But its under 20p a day excluding running costs for portable power, and is likely to cost less than handing another in to be serviced.

has to be cheap china type thing!
but great price for the occasional user, caravan type person, d.i.y geek!!!

Soudns good, though almost many of the reviewers on ebuyer say that some bits were loose/disconnected.

Reading through the spec again - its NOT going to power 99.9% of kettles and unlikely to run most heaters.

I also dont think its for an occasional user - as it likely to fall apart in a year.

Get it if you want to use one often - as its dirt cheap and you can get it replaced when it fries itself in the first year.

This is a very good deal for what it is. I wonder where all the people who say that it won't last any length of time get their evidence from. Sounds like general naysaying to me.

The reviews are a slight giveaway.

How are the reviews a giveaway? There's only five of them and all they say is that some bolts and a wire were loose, hardly damning evidence. Like thekanester said, I have real problems with people posting things like "it wont last 12 months" without hard evidence. Unless you own this particular generator and have first hand knowledge of it failing then how can you know it will fail? If you do, can you do my lottery ticket for next week?

the occational user it could last 5 years! things come off through use, not sat in garage! if i were to buy one for everyday use i would go for top quality! could cost you more on a job if your geny keeps letting you down within your 12month guarentee!! still think this is hot!! ;-)

There's been a 'slight' price adjustment on this now.
