Oh No! 5g (cue the foil hat crew)
I got this in march and I think it a cracking deal
Tempting, but I doubt I’d pass the credit check

I think because it was this price on a 12 month contract not long ago
Good price.
I got this on 12 month contract on Tuesday
I moved over to o2 from Vodafone not so long ago as the prices were so much cheaper but I have had to put a spend cap on my account as although I’m supposed to have unlimited everything there’s a lot that’s not included and I was ending up with loads of additional charges- never had any on Vodafone- they also increased my monthly contract cost after a month of being with them- will be moving back once my contract is up

A. unlimited means unlimited new eu law last year.
B. Increase in contract mid term means you can leave straight away .

I think @jessica41 might be talking about other chargeable extras, like MMS etc. Have you looked at bolt ons for what you are getting charged for @jessica41, it will be worth it if you use a lot of what you are being charged for.

It’s seems everything is a chargeable extra- never had charges outside by contact before but now apparently I’m sending messages that aren’t included even though 99% of the messages I send are IMessages, I forwarded a scam message to report it and got charged 10p- done the same back with Vodafone and never had a charge- had 3 bills now all with extras- I wouldn’t mind but I’m on one of the highest contracts and my usage has been minimal since at home, I tried contacting them and was a complete nightmare, finally got someone on chat but they weren’t very helpful at all- I said I wanted to put a cap on and gave me the option of £5, £10, £15 etc I replied with 0 funny how they didn’t give it as an option!

Download the app and it gives you a breakdown. I've been with O2 for years and never had any problems until recently. I replied to a text from my bank and was charged 17p. Maybe something has changed? MMS has always been charged on O2 so I use WhatsApp. Emoji's in text messages might get charged as well but I could be wrong. Hope that helps.

Vodafone done the same to me. I have a feeling they probably all do it after a few months now as standard practice
Cold deal for me. These deals used to be unlimited data and shorter term. Since the lockdown they've all gone up in price and down in data

Most do it, normally every march or April.
