Feels like a decent enough deal to me for a phone that's currently £599, plus 100gb three (roaming) data.

If battery life is key, go for the s10+ og note 10+, if you simply must have the best camera then get this.

Not bothered about the camera to be fair, use the phone as sat nav on my motorbike so prefer a big screen and decent battery. Been using an iphone 8plus for the past 2 and a bit years but fancy a change. Leaning towards the note+ for the screen/battery/ and stylus as I can use one note and ms teams for work with it, just waiting to see if a decent deal comes up.

That's the one I'd choose personally, or the s10 5g?

BuyMobiles.net have decent offers with EE on these.
I'm currently haggling with EE for my new contract and the call centre have literally said call them on black Friday as they will be offering deals on these.
The Pixel 3 camera performs just fine, this is just overpriced garbage. I am staying away from Pixel phones from now on, a year passes and they start to die. Been with Google phones since Nexus 4 and for the past 3-4 years they have stopped properly supporting their previous smartphones. Sad really.
Hot ...... apart from; no scart socket; nowhere insert my VHS tapes; and no connection for my phono plug headphones. How the hell am I going to watch my blurry black and white 1985 pirate copy of ET on this?

Intresting, I am still running a pretty beat up Pixel 2. Waiting to bite on a Pixel 4, only gripe is lack of fingerprint reader. Great phones, much more substantial than my wifes S9 and my work Iphone 8

Clearly an unlucky personal experience that isn't reflective of the broader quality.

Pixel phones are well rated, and the recent Pixel 4 XL has been received well by a range of Technology journalists (Pixel 4 has a small battery, so receives more criticism).

To call the phone "Garbage" is clearly not a balanced opinion

It is an accepted fact that Google are behaving much like Apple in that they are releasing devices with small tweaks and charging extortionate prices for them. More concerning is the fact that most of the older devices such as the Pixel 3 has seen many software related problems in the past few weeks. Most tech reviewers of the same opinion that Google is charging rip off prices for their devices, quality aside.
Honestly so far this Black Friday mobile phone contract offers havent been so good. Much better last year and 2 years ago. Hopefully some better offers come out.
Not sure how much this is worth, but I had a Pixel 4 for just over 2 weeks and I had to return it. I ordered it preety much from launch day. The battery on this smaller Pixel 4 was just too small (2800mah), and with the 90hz screen and the radar and face unlocking, along with moderate use, it would struggle. Best I had was about 20 hours with about 3-4 hours screen on time, and at worse with heavier use it was 14 hours and about 2.5 hours of SoT. After 2 weeks, I just felt the phone was the equivalent of owning a EV with range anxiety. What good is having the camera (which to be fair is only moderately better than the 3, which I had before), if using it drains the battery even more?

I really wanted to like the phone, but as good as the face unlock was, the pure android experience, and Google finally getting the RAM right, the biggest problem for the smaller pixel is the battery.

I would avoid the smaller Pixel 4 and go for the larger Pixel 4XL with the 3700mah battery, if you are to consider a Pixel 4.
