No just three. The cashback for mobile phones direct is £30 at last check.

Usually takes a couple/few months. Maybe longer

No worries mate...still stonking deal this
@MrSwitch you’re the mobile expert I have a quick question.

If I upgrade early (EE offered free upgrade offer) on a contract I took out with affordable mobiles, will I get any penalties from them? As in one of their threads I saw people saying they can charge you the remaining phone value if you don’t complete the contract.

Here is their terms and conditions:

It says downgrading or ending the contract early, triggers this clause. Does upgrading count as ending my contract early?

Thanks either way

I'm just off the phone to three, they were able to price match this offer (it comes in at £37 a month on my three app)

No need to do anything with pac codes.

I just ordered mine via three and it is coming on Monday.

I am in northern Ireland though, so may take longer for here.

Affordable Mobiles?
MrSwitch31/01/2020 14:22

Affordable Mobiles?

Yeah, that’s the 3rd party company used to get the EE contract originally. There’s about 3 months left of the 2 years, but EE have offered me to upgrade early with no fees, and a discount off the line rental. I just don’t know if upgrading counts as ending my original contract early? As I would still have the same number and a running contract...

Once you take out your contract with AM, your affiliation with them ends, your contract is then with EE, and all communication etc from there on in is with them. Am took there bit when you signed up

Click get deal, add the deal to your basket where it should stay for 30 mins, head to topcashback topcashback.co.uk/thr…es/

Click through from there, and the deal should hopefully still be in your basket

What does that section 4.5 and 4.6 mean in the terms and conditions screenshot I posted earlier then? Would an early upgrade not effectively be ending my initial contract within the minimum term?

Thanks again for taking the time to respond

No upfront fee, and I pay £33 p/m (just a standard contract). However I would assume upgrading early is effectively cancelling your existing contract (hence normally having an early upgrade charge, basically a cancellation fee), which those terms indicate they (Affordable Mobiles) can charge you for the privilege
