Microsoft is giving away 100GB of OneDrive storage for free for 2 years

US ONLY BUT...

Get the Zenmate Chrome/Firefox extension
Change your location to US in the Zenmate extension
Sign up for Bing Rewards - bing.com/rew…ard
Claim reward

Microsoft's OneDrive storage service has grown in popularity during the past few months as the company adds new features at a frequent rate and is regularly upping the free storage for the service.

If you find yourself wishing you had a bit more storage space, or simply like free things, Microsoft is giving away 100GB of storage for two years through Bing Rewards. For this offer, you do not need any Bing credits but you do have to agree to receive promotional emails from the company.

Because of Microsoft's initiative to have its products on every major platform, you can grab OneDrive apps for iOS/OS X and Android; Windows 8 and above has OneDrive functionality built in.

If you want to grab the offer, hit the source link below but be aware as it looks like this offer may only be for those in the US.

Promotion Ends 2/28...

OneDrive isn't the best of services but this is absolutely scorching.

I've managed to get it setup with my existing Outlook.com e-mail address by changing my country in the preferences to United States. Then I went to this: bing.com/rew…ard and setup Bing Rewards whilst using the Hula plugin set to US.

The offer has now been redeemed and working great.

I do need to renew my last 100gb storage, so this is useful

Thanks worked now have 130 GB total!

Thanks Op, have been using OneDrive for a year now with 15gb of space. I was looking to up this and this 100GB for 2 years is perfect.

So what happens after 2 years, will I have to start paying to retain the 100GB.

Already have 1TB from my Office 365 subs from the Linx tablets, otherwise I would be all over this.

Normally I believe your account would lock - your account and data will still be accessible but you would be unable to add any more until you got your account back down below the current limit.

Given that free space is dished out with Office 365 subsctriptions, and this is probably the second such offer in the past two years, you could probably top it up between now and 2017 anyway

heat added thanks

Thanks OP..

worked using the Chrome "Hola" extension, 130gb until 2017! Thanks OP!

Heat added, just got it

Can you set this up using an extension, then revert to your UK location and still have the benefit of the storage?

I'm kinda guessing that thats what the OP meant in their Product Description ..... :-)

Wasn't clear to me - and just wanted it clarified rather than spending 30 mins messing around and not getting it to work :-) BTW @mittu1 thanks for the clarification

hot, sorted. Cheers OP

Thank you op...

Will try

Thanks. Sorted!

Got there cheers

Wow thanks for this. My free 100GB from a year ago is due to expire on 19th so this is brilliant timing.

Try changing your country/region and time zone to USA in your Microsoft account profile - I changed mine to United States, Oregon, Pacific time (PST) and it worked fine.

I've just changed it back to United Kingdom and London GMT time zone and the 100GB is still there, so touch wood...

We'll see if they honour that, but here's hoping! Thanks!

I couldn't get away with it using Hola - but changing settings to L.A California and using Cyberghost from LA did the trick on my Live account

Just incredibly slow getting it setup - just realised I still had Hola turned on. If it's on whilst Cyberghost is your proxy you will timeout.

Thank you, sorted and worked fine

Brilliant... Thanks naru6705

Is hits as convenient to use as Dropbox? I had a Box account and it was not useful compared to Dropbox and just ended up stopped using it.

Nice one. Worked fine with Chrome and Hola:)

nice, thanks.

Eventually got it via hola ...thnx op

Yes it works after numerous security checks, emails, sign ups etc, its up-to you whether its worth the hassle or not, I used Cyberghost to use a US IP Address...

Looks good, thanks. Zenmate Chrome extension worked well, FireFox version just caused the site to crawl.

I'm not sure if you had to accept the permissions for the OneDrive Preview App (which include the ability to add and remove the bonus storage), but I just removed the app permissions via account.live.com/con…-US and I still appear to have the 100GB bonus.
