i wouldn't touch this with a barge pole. firstly i was stung many years ago by a company claiming the very same thing, and they went into receivership and we didn't see a penny in cashback. Secondly, they usually make you jump through so many hoops that you fail to redeem it due to their terms and conditions.

Cashback Claim Process:

Claiming your cashback couldn't be simpler. You will need to send in your mobile phone bill at months 4 , 6 , 8 , 10 and 12

It's so simple to workout when you need to claim your cashback, please see the below table on when you should send your bills to us.

Bill Claim Amount
Bill Dated January 2015
Bill Dated February 2015
Bill Dated March 2015
Bill Dated April 2015 £21.60
Bill Dated May 2015
Bill Dated June 2015 £21.60
Bill Dated July 2015
Bill Dated August 2015 £21.60
Bill Dated September 2015
Bill Dated October 2015 £21.60

The required bill needs to be sent to Cashback Claims, Admail ADM4118, Loughborough, LE11 1YX and must be received within 60 days from the date on the bill. The bill must show your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to.

We recommend you send this by recorded delivery as we cannot be held responsible for lost items or claims that arrive outside the qualifying period. We also recommend you keep your proof of postage.

Then if you try to click on the full terms and conditions to no doubt find that if you miss one step you forfeit the lot, you get a convenient 404 error message.

One stop phone shop is owned by car phone warehouse. They won't be going bust anytime soon.

E2 save +onestop are reputable companies. They do honour cashback and cant see them going bust soon.

i never questioned their reputation, just cast doubt on this kind of cashback redemption deal. The last time i saw one of these, the only way they made money on was when people fail to comply with the terms of the cashback and forfiet it, otherwise they ended up making a loss. I cant see why this would be any different, you dont get anything for nothing!

There is also that point that you cannot actually view the full terms and conditions due to the page not being found, thats a big red flag for me.

I had a 2 contracts with them about a year ago. When I sent the bills (recorded delivery) to claim the cashback one of two things would happen...

1 - The would deny they have ever received the bill in which case I would have to call them and give them the royal mail reference number to convince them I sent the claim off on time.
2- They would text/email that the bill does not match the criteria for cashback and my claim has been rejected (it has to show name, address, phone number etc etc), so I would have to call them and take them through the bill explaining where on the bill each point is covered (even thought it was a standard bill generated by 02).

I did receive all my cashbacka and I had a blinding deal but it was a lot of hard work as I had to call them every time my cashback was due.

Looks like there is also £15 cash back on TCB site.

I looked at this deal and then opted to just pay instead after reading all the negative feedback on it.
I'm all for a bargain but this much messing about just points towards them trying to trip you up IMO.

This is a great deal. The cashback process is very simple and I have been doing these for many years now. You claim online ...it is a really simple process and I never had any issues and do this for all my family phones. It was risky in the past using the postal services but not any more and it is very easy. You have an account page that informs you of the months to claim and then at that time just upload a copy of the bill. You get an email to confirm acceptance of the cashback within a few hours. I have only had one issue when a cheque did not arrived and I simply sent an email and it was resolved within an hour & the cheque was resent. The only risk is if the company folds and these CPW companies have been around for a long time now and have a good reputation, so hopefully you will be fine, especially for a 12 month contract. Lets face it, even if they did fold, £9 a month is not bad anyway

couldn't be simpler? you are kidding, right? spend money on recorded delivery, too? i did exactly this and never heard back from them. they also i lntroduced an email service and everything I sent either bounced or got no response at all. needless to say I'll never do that again.. all you end up doing is chasing them.. it's not like i haven't got other things to do..

thats the blurb on their page, not a statement of my own. i think my opinion is quite clear given my very first comment, and the one after that quote.
