These are great for taking Suncream, shampoo, cosmetics and any other liquids on holiday with you in your cabin bags. All liquids in hand luggage must be in no bigger than 100 ml bottles and be in a see through re sealable bag. Works out far cheaper to buy in bulk and fill these bottles up than buy products in 100 ml travel bottles. £1 at poundland.

That's unlucky. I took 25 on holiday last year (family of 5), no leaks and am using them again this year. Saved a fortune.

heat, I bought something similar for last holiday but paid a lot more off ebay

the plastic is very thin and dents easy, but you get what you pay for! mine did not leak, took them to a festival with me and served the purpose.

yeah mine leaked also

Haven't used these from Poundland, but Primark sells a similar product that are OK.
Heat from me, OP

Or just put the shampoo, sun cream, cosmetics in your suitcase and then you can take as much as you want, and if you only take hand luggage then just buy the stuff over there.

Also virtually every airport has its own see-through bags it insists you use.

£1 in Primark too Same thing

79p in home bargains in redcar

keep buying them from that store every year. cold for me as permanent price not bargain

Got some last year, the bag seal is useless, containers are ok to be honest.

For a pound they're essentially disposable, I left them in the hotel when done, would gladly buy again!

We only take hand luggage when we go away for a week. We're going to Marrakech on Saturday, and will be taking plenty of these bottles with us. There are two things I would never travel without.

1. Enough decent suntan cream to last the entire holiday for the kids.
2. Enough decent shampoo and conditioner for the wife to last the whole holiday.

So we use plenty of these bottles, they're brilliant.

One tip is to have one of your sandwich bags full of just sun cream bottles.

plastic not very strong cracks after a while

I got these free at the airport (LHR) last time I flew (Oct 2014). Picked-up a few spare bags for my next trip!.

Bought what looks like the same set for about £3 in asda recently so a decent deal. Might buy another set just in case.

You've been to "virtually every airport "?

I've never been asked to use specifically supplied airport bags but I've only traversed several airports, not "virtually every airport"! Maybe you mean virtual airports?

Usually wrap some clear tape around the tops of these small bottles - helps prevent any spillage.

Lol you've been to virtually every airport?

They don't care unless its obviously unsuitable. They have them for you in case you forgot to bring your own. Why would they hold up security lines anymore than necessary for people to move their stuff from their perfectly suitable bag to the official but exactly as suitable ones.....?
