In the market for a tablet for my Dad and this does seem like a good deal. Did you run a spyware check on it (malwarebytes I normally use)? I bought a tablet from Gearbest (chuwi hi 10 pro) and I had to root it to remove the spyware on that.
What's the difference between the T10 and M20? I'm not sure which range is higher in the pecking order. I notice the M20 has just been upgraded to 4/128GB, but the resolution has come down from the previous version.

That's interesting but sometimes there's a lot of false positives with viruses and malware

Can't say I've spyware checked it, but to be fair I only really use it for watching films and TV shows

"I bought a tablet from Gearbest (chuwi hi 10 pro)".

It's funny you mention chuwi hi 10 pro, I remember (some x-Year's back), having my eye's on a chuwi hi 10 (non-pro) dual-boot tablet at the time ...

I was really keen on the joint Android/Window's thank at the time, etc, lol.

But ofcourse had no clue about the brand at the time (and even less of a clue about the merchant either at that particular point in time, hehehe), so I obviously held off.

Then by the time I was finally 'ready', the brand as a whole started to be heavily trashed upon here!.

So I then thought, hmmmmmmmmm, let me leave it ...

The chuwi hi 10 pro was Window's only, but the chuwi hi 10 (non-pro) was dual-boot Android/Window's (like I've already iterated), so obviously the thing that appealed to me of that tablet was it's dual-boot thing at the time, as other Chinese branded dual-boot 'alternatives' weren't quite cutting it at the time (interestingly enough, teclast was one of them too - at the time that is).

So it was ironic when it appeared that that one then started following suit as well ... lol.

What's your chuwi hi 10 pro like?.

I was looking at the dual boot ones myself, but noticed a lot of them were quite old versions of android.

When I got this one android 7 was new and so made it more appealing
The Teclast T20 supercedes this.
I have a T10, my 11 year old son has a T20. Both very good tablets.
T20 has a USB C port (T10 micro USB), T20 can take a SIM card fir mobile networks - if you're carrier is supported by it.
In short if either got stolen tomorrow I'd be happy to buy either a T10 or a T20 again.

Does it have a global or Chinese ROM? Does it come pre installed with the Google play store? Screen resolution sounds impressive, is the screen as good as the specs suggest?

Both T10 and T20 came from Banggood (I generally buy from gearbest and banggood) both have global ROM, both have playstore 'out of the box'
Display is very good. Battery lasts around 6 or 7 hours watching films.
Bought a Teclast tablet a few years back, based on great reviews. Wasn't at all impressed by the build quality of product. It was acceptable of course but not even close to a known brand product. I've bought many off brand Chinese products over the years, the only one that's actually impressed me so far is my LETV Le2 X527 phone. Battery life could be better but a year and a half later it's doing very well indeed.
