good find op, heat added
I have an older set. Good quality and robust.
Is this good or the cordless screw driver
Even the more expensive bits wear out and break, not to mention go missing. Screwdriver bits always come in handy and I see that this has the security bits in it. I purchased a 30 piece kit from Screwfix for £1.69 recently just for the security bits but this doesn't look too bad for a tenner. The ratchet screwdriver and magnetic holder will be useful as will the security bits.
Any nuts.
Pleasantly surprised how well Aldi tools hold up, sure they aren't no Snap-on standard but they are pretty robust, have a small ratchet set that's had quite a bit of hammer and its still going strong.

Any nuts.

There are quite a few on here but they are mainly in the computer section if you have a look. There are also a few rude people in the audio visual section so best to stay in Home and Entertainment where it's normal and always friendly.

Duly noted, them nerds
I bought a multi tool and a torque wrench from Aldi. They look very well made and are comparable with more expensive brands and far better than your Challenge range from a well know retailer. Not sure if the 'challenge' in the Challenge name is to see if the product will expire before its warranty runs out but I won't buy their brand no matter how cheap it is. Had a jigsaw, drill and garden vac and all failed early.

I also have an air compressor that my dad bought from Aldi with all of the accessories which is mine now and its a nice piece of kit. Had it for quite a few years now
If anyone is looking for a small cordless drill / screwdriver I have just bought a Wickes brand 10.8v battery drill for £34.99. I missed out on the Bosch one at B & Q which was on offer over christmas at £42.00 which was a steal and been looking since. I have a decent 18v battery drill so was just looking for something cheap and simple with variable speed, which is an absolute must for screwing, which was light and small enough just to keep in the house.

As usual I been googling for a week now and happened to spot the Wickes one yesterday when buying something else.

It has 2 speeds, 1.3mAh battery but most important, a 30 minute charge which is actually better than the Bosch one. It's quite impressive for the money. 2 year warrant as well.

Ignore the spec regarding charge time. It is 30 minutes

Looks about the going rate anywhere for this sort of set. The recent expired screwfix deal was £1.99 for a similar set but without a ratchet driver. There is a similar product at Lidl for £7.99. From what I've seen of such tools they are just typical generic chinese tools. Are these hardened or made from a better material?

One of the security bits looks like it may be off centre in the image although hard to tell. Not all Aldi or Lidl tool deals are worth considering some are not that great at all. This certainly doesn't seem anything special.
