£73.92RAC Deals

I was looking to renew my breakdown insurance and I usually opt for the highest level of care. Roadside, Recovery and Homestart. Both AA and RAC charge over £100 for this option but ASDA are offering breakdown cover (supplied by RAC) for just over £74. I considered the quidco options but saw how unreliable they can be in delivering the money so I went for this. Also has the option of paying monthly with 0% interest.

"Weve got together with our friends at RAC to bring you breakdown cover that will help you out in almost every situation. If you car breaks down anywhere in the UK, or even if you breakdown on your way to work or taking the kids to school - we'll be there.

You get this amazing level of cover for a great price of just £73.92 saving you as much as £33.28. Or you can choose to pay only £6.16 per month with no extra charge. Another great example of ASDA bringing you MORE for LESS.
How does ASDA Breakdown compare?"

No onward travel but still quite a good deal.

You may even be able to get 3% off through Quidco.

It says apply online but links you to RAC so it may not work.

You can get RAC through Quidco so it may be possible to add the ADSA link to the Quidco one.

Thanks for posting it.
my cover runs out with rac in 4 weeks, but says new customers only. no chance to upgrade, anybody know of deals elsewhere?
As the research is still fresh in my head then try:

tesco-breakdown.co.uk/ which is via GreenFlag at £79 for their highest level of cover including onward travel. I will probably switch to that next year as this RAC deal probably wont be there then + couldnt afford the lump sum payment in one go.
I've been with ]Autoaid for four years now and its cheap (£34 about to go to £36) and excellent. Its a pay and reclaim service - but gives you high end cover and onward travel. Had to use it twice, and was prompt and repaid the cost promptly.

Failing using that - get RAC through Tesco for a quater of the price using Tesco Clubcard points.
