This is scrummy cake!
O/H has demanded that I don't buy any more though, it's so so tempting and so so bad for you!

I prefer my own chocolate fudge icing
Store brought icing can be better if you mix it and add butter to taste
Is this not just self raising flour and chocolate powder?

icing sugar not flour
You need to add an egg, which have been hard to buy recently.

Currently, dragon eggs are less rare in the shops than chicken eggs.
Good deal. Last time I tried baking this cake it was just soggy in the middle. But I put this down to my terrible baking skills.

Same thing happened to me, mine was due to not pre heating the oven!

I've got one of these to make currently with the kids - can't go wrong with Betty Crocker unlike my traditional attempts

Stick a knife in the middle of the cake; if it comes out clean, it’s ready.

I've always seen eggs in the stores lately. They might not have all the "quality or sizes" but they have at least the 6 medium pack. Like toilet paper, I can find it easily now too (I shop before 12 on high street, sainsbury, lidl, Tesco, wilko) 👀
Wilko only for toilet paper 🤐

However the thing I'm finding harder to find it's flour, 00 one. I can still bake with plain one, not a big deal.

Whenever I make this it always tastes eggy. Should I add 2 eggs instead of 3 or does it just need more mixing?
Heat
I only had this once but it was one of the best cakes I ever had, I put all the icing (was just an asda brand icing tub) between the 2 parts of cake but it stayed really moist for days.
Use 300ml of coke instead of eggs to make it vegan
None in stock. The wife is heartbroken.

Most people measure coke in grams.
