Remember to turn YouTube settings up to 1080p

I prefer the E-Prance Mini 0801 from Amazon, cheaper, no crappy infra-red lights which bounce back off the windscreen impairing vision, rather than aiding when used at night..

A quick question, how do people go about hiding wires from these, I don't fancy having them trail down the windscreen. Thanks

Hard wire it to the fuse box and tuck your cable behind the A post and head lining

I got the transcend 200 and it came with a really long wire so from the cigarette lighter I ran it under the passenger footwell rubber matt, under the glovebox and up the inside of the door frame then window frame. Along the top of the front windscreen and then into the device. Pretty discreet. But wiring it into the fuse box would be good if it frees up your cigarette lighter for sat nav etc

Also consider this superior alternative for only £60 ...

I bought a Dashcam Hardwire Fuse kit, similar to the image below, and installed it myself.. a bit nerve-wrecking as I'd never attempted anything like this before but its pretty easy..

Don't forget to pick up some double-sided velcro to tape the step-down box somewhere discreet too.

Id say its better value to buy the cheaper 720p version also posted today. Not much of a quality difference and you would be able to see everything you need to for a dash cam. Only go for this if you have the money spare.

Some cars have air bags in A posts... I wouldn't recommend tinkering with them.

When you buy a fuse kit - make sure you buy one that matches your fusebox..

Some cars have standard size, others have Mini or Micro fuses.

not the best unboxing will see, but it give you a idea what in the box: youtube.com/wat…7vY
