Seems like a decent deal for a well reviewed (Amazon and elsewhere on the internet) WiFi action cam complete with 2 spare batteries and accessories.

For some reason the black is £14 cheaper than the other colours.

Extremely well reviewed by people that didn't actually buy the camera but are provided with one at discount price (free).

Good deal with 2 batteries,273 reviews all given away at discount price for a good review only 25 honest ?

Don't forget to mark the 'honest and unbiased revues' 'not helpful'

With this being fulfilled by Amazon returns shouldn't be that difficult. Reviews are personal, some people can accept the trade-off price v quality but there are some expecting much more than what they paid for.
Reviews for this are certainly biased for those who received an incentive, if having found you'd prefer better quality and should have spent sensible money for this type of product then return to Amazon as others have.
Think the youtube vid tipped it for me to vote hot, even though I've not bought it but then even that may have been a paid for review.

It's always tricky when looking to buy something from Amazon as the reviews are a great resource for helping you choose but there does seem to be a fair amount of products given free for review and you have to question if this is a good idea. I try to stick to products with 100+ reviews and still cross reference other review sites, but it's a shame that you need to. I also tend to stick with products fulfilled by amazon so I can return them easily if required.

This is a birthday gift so I'll comment on the quality once it's been opened. I'm not expecting a GoPro at this price but hoping it's good enough for the kids to have some fun with.

Amazon is cracking down on the practice of companies offering free products to customers in exchange for a review.

I bought a similar camera for about £40 off Amazon and its spit on. Been skiing with it, had it in the water etc.

I never buy any item from amazon on the basis of reviews for freebies.

What gets me is the stuff is usually bottom end - how desperate can you be for more and more poor quality chines junk to resell on ebay?

That was at least a month ago, where is the so called 'crackdown'?
What amazes me is the enormous gap between the paid revues and the real ones. All the paid reviews give 5 stars, the real ones mostly one or two.
