Wooooh! That thing is the size of my 'garden'! Wouldn't like to fill it up - might flood the house!

thats what we almost did in our old place :oops:and it took half a day to fill as well but if u got the room and the drainage go for it voted hot

This has to be brilliant! Not my thing - but voted hot.

By the time you've filled this monster, the British summer will be over.....
:?

Ordered mine , heat added , thanks op

We have one of these , paid around £30 for it 2 years ago .... I thing the RRP is a little over the odds to be honest.
Good price nevertheless and I can confirm it takes just over 2 hours for us to fill it from our outdoor tap.
Easy(ish) to setup though , just make sure the ground is perfectly level or it will lean to one side and you wont be able to fill it right up.

I got an 8ft one last summer for same price, so this deal is great.
I'd advise putting in a chlorine shock tablet in when you fill it, then get a floating container (which you put a chlorine tablet inside) which you leave floating in the water when the kids have finished playing - otherwise the water will start to go green within 7 - 14 days.
I get my tablets from Ebay they don't cost much.
Heat and rep for a good find.

I take it these are a bad idea for a roof terrace?

How would you go about draining it?

mmmm... must have blinked and missed it, oh-well.

I got a 12' one three year ago (didn't use it last yearbecause of the weather)
Be warned mine takes at least 4 hours to fill up , you need a chlorine tabs and dispenser to stop it going green(ebay) and its effin freezing for the first day or so but you soon get used to it :?
Brilliant when the weathers nice

raptorcigs;2012850

does the woman on the right come with it?

anyone know how thick the base is? the only flat surface i got is my patio, grass area slopes too much i think to put this on

Sily cheap for what you are getting. Brilliant if you have the space.....

I would also recommend that you get a solar cover if you are buying this...it keeps the pool relatively clear of leaves...etc, and warms it up at the same time. Its basically a piece of industrial strength bubble wrap that fits the surface of the pool!

Looks hot to me

No the woman on the right is hot - the pool looks cool :-D

I like the way they got the models to all kneel down in it to give the impression that it's waist deep...

My adult cousin has one like this and he puts an airbed on it and floats around in the sun with a beer in his hand. I think he's pretending he's in the pacific or something.

Ordered at voted hot.

However customer reviews on website seem to indicate that the inflated ring can either get punctured all too easily. Some report that after a few days in needs to be reinflated. I get the impression this might well be a weak point.

At three and a half tonnes, probably, yes.

So last year these were being flogged off cheap because of hosepipe bans, and this year they're being flogged off cheap because the weather's bad...

Sorry to sound boring but what will happen to the grass after a few weeks?? My thoughts are u lawn is ruined in a nice circle.
Voted Hot all the same

Only temporarily ruined though, we had the same with a big 10ft trampoline it left a huge circle of mud but within a few months it all grew back when we moved the trampoline to another area.

scenery very realistic looking

Spot on when you put it away you have a brown (Smelly) circle Just rake it and put a box of grass seed down

The ring at the top is prone to splits on the seams which arnt to easy to repair once filled, you can get a framed version which we have. I also use a filter pump, chlorine, ph +/- and algicide. you can get all of these from ebay just as cheap

Great bit of photoshop (!) on that pic..

I had one of these two years ago and put it away for the winter in the shed, then the local mice population thought it would be a great place to live in during the cold season. Come summer it was in about a million pieces (but still in its box).

I concur with everyone else - you need to treat the water otherwise it goes green and slimey very quickly, the top ring goes flat and make sure you have a level surface. I put mine on what I thought was level block paving but the whoile thing lurched to one side once full.

when over in OZ my friend had one. Its fine if its not level if you dont want the level of water to be as high! which is probably safer if you have smaller kids....

Re chemicals, chlorine etc... I learned from my friend that this is a must, you have to test the water - with testing strips, this then tells you which chemicals you need to put in. If you dont it could be a potential health hazard as the water would go bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope we all get the weather to use the pool...................

bargain! voted hot, the 8 ft one is the same price as the 10 ft one which seems strange? just ordered mine. bloomin' annoyed that woolworths are one of the only sites that don't accept solo as a payment method though....had to borrow mother in law's credit card as I don't trust myself with one lol

Hi

I have the 15foot version of this, after reading the thread ive decided i need the chlorine dispenser, could someone please PM me a link to a ebay auction of exactly what i need, dont want to be ordering the wrong thing, any help asap would be good as im hoping to get the pool out in the next few days
