Looking for an inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board that’s as comfortable on the waves as it is on a lake or river? The DJ Sports is a great all-rounder.

It has a surf-inspired longboard shape to handle mid-size waves but with less curvature than a rocker board to easily glide on flatter waters.

The inflatable SUP comes with all of the kit you need to carry it, inflate it and hit the open water, including a deluxe backpack, manual inflation pump and adjustable extra lomg aluminium oar.

As a complete package, it’s perfect if you’re looking to purchase your first paddleboard with Durable Construction

For unparalleled strength and durability, the DJ Sports SUP has a high-density double-wall construction.

Premium marine grade material that can withstand extreme nautical conditions, including exposure to petroleum products and ultra-violet rays. The hardwearing material is used on the surface of the SUP to protect it from wear and tear whilst you’re paddle boarding.

When inflated, it can support a considerable weight of 100kg. When deflated, it is lightweight and portable to easily carry.

3 Modelled Fins: These help to provide directional stability so that it’s easier to navigate your way through the water. The fins also help you to move faster through the waves. They have a flexible design which is more resistant to heavy knocks against rocks and other obstacles.

Elastic Cord For Storage: Elastic bungee cords at the front of the SUP allow you to easily carry a repair kit, camera, food and other provisions when you’re paddle boarding. Be sure to check that the equipment doesn’t push the weight capacity over the 100kg limit.

Non-Slip Traction Pad: If you’re new to paddle boarding, one of the hardest things to get to grips with is standing up. The non-slip traction pad on the surface of the SUP provides superior grip so that it’s easier to hold your balance when you’re standing up and paddle boarding.

Convenient Deck Handle: Pulling the SUP out of the water isn’t easy. It measures over 9’ long, weighs over 15kg and can be very slippery when it’s wet. A pre-fixed deck handle allows you to drag it in and out of the water with greater ease. It also helps you to pick up and carry it.

The SUP includes DJ Sports Pump with Pressure Gauge to easily inflate it to the correct volume without the risk of over-inflation.

An adjustable Aluminium Oar (178cm – 220cm) is also included along with a Deluxe Backpack to conveniently carry the SUP to your destination.

Stay away. If you want high end, go for Red or McConks (the latter being a small family run UK and sustainable brand and cheaper than Red). If you want cheaper, but still excellent quality, look at Fatstick Boards. If you want really cheap, but ok quality, look at Aquaplanet.

4 inch thick, it will sit low in the water

Plenty of 4inch thick paddle boards out there that are really good, but this is not one of them.

    But cheap buy twice.

I had a go on a cheap one the other day, utter dog turd. Pay more and get a good branded one. Aqua marina or something like that.

Utter crap! Don’t buy anything like this. Spend more on a decent brand!

A good price but having 2 of these myself, i can honestly say they are only good for kids, not adults regardless of what weight they say they will take. They are too thin (4 inch) and too narrow.

It will only be good for having drinks on in the pool. Might be good for a small/light person but not for an adult.

you're 100% correct, I have this same board. I'm 14 stone and it sat under the water when I used it hence only used it once myself. It was however OK for both my kids to use.

Totally agree, but fine for kids, and enough to spend to see if they are going to get into it or not. My daughter has a very similar one from Groupon and she is fine on it, but no good for adults.

Yep, you've got a point, I was just worried that having a cheap one would put people off, I always offer mine, hence I ended up on the dog turd one.

If you are near the sea, you'll use it I'm sure.

What's a decent brand? I'm after one as a newbie and wanting to get I to it

Could anyone in the know comment on whether the AQUA MARINA VAPOR which is currently priced as a kit for £285 is worth it. Description says max weight 140kg. I wouldn't use it very often but would still like something decent.

So I'm a bit on the heavy side, wanting to dip my toe so not after spending a fortune, but also want to spend enough to enjoy it. Will buy whatever once I know it's for sure for me. I'm at 120kg myself, and have £100 amazon voucher I'd want to use. What would people recommend?

    Quite narrow and thin looking at the specifications. I use a Bestway 10’ x 33” x 4.75” board and I’m 72kg.

I cannot comment on this one but bought two a few years ago with the same spec for my children. Took then to France pre-lockdown. They really struggled to stay upright. It was just not supportive and not stable. We thought they could not get the hang of things and were just not paddle boarders. They met some other kids and tried their boards and they got on and paddle boarded like they were experts. Purchased some in Decathlon in France and they were amazing. We left the old ones behind for other people to struggle and give up. But cheap buy twice.
