Possible pricematch at B+Q will make it £87.30 (Not sure if they sell 10ft ??)

This is a decent price for a 10ft - just checked B&Q online and they are charging £119.98 for 8ft with enclosure

Original Poster

Does it have to be the same make/model as asda?

Edit

Doesn't seem like B&Q stock the 10 ft model

They pricematch B+Q own brand with other own brands, the Asda one is a Asda ownbrand.

Have you been in B+Q and asked if they have a 10ft ? They are not on the website but im sure i saw one last week instore ?

I just contacted 2 store and both don't stock it

I also contacted Asda who told me that they've only just received the stock and it will be out on display tomorrow.

Cheers for that

I knew this would already be posted. Hot deal.

Just seen the guys at our Asda trying to build one of these there were three of them, said they had been trying for four hours and judging from the way they were going they were going to be at least another four!

see this deal posted on the MSE website, so popped down to my local branch (rayleigh) and they had 4 left, sold quite a few already today.

Just a tip when building one of these , when fitting the springs , attatch the spring to the mat and then pull the spring to the frame, not the other way round like i did as it was very hard work ! , i guess i should have read the instructions properly

 Thanks for original post, have just managed to purchase one this morning & like you didn't read instructions for fitting springs so hard work until we did read them! Very pleased with trampoline by the way! Cheers

Lots available in Trowbridge ( Wiltshire ) Store

LOL its very hard work doing them the wrong way isnt it !

Is the photo the exact model, anyone got a link to the model Asda are selling.

Also what else do I need? Weather cover? Fixing set?

Original Poster

Its just a generic pic i put on m8, you can get fixing kits for £16 and cover for £5 at B+Q if you need them, we haven bothered with afixing kit for out 8ft as it seems pretty secure

Just picked the 10ft up from Asda. WIcked bit of kit and nice build too. There is about 12 still left in Milton Keynes store.....

Stupid question but is it big enough or a couple of kids on at a time??

It reccomends for obvious reasons for only one person at a time however its big enough for two kids just need to be careful.....

Original Poster

We have an 8ft and can get 2 kids on it, so 10ft will easily get 2

It depends on size of kids, my four all pile onto our 10foot one, but if its older kids I restrict to one or two depending on size weight etc.

Thank you, my daughter is 12

Kirsty262;5124146

Thank you, my daughter is 12

Should be able to get two on with no problems then, my eldest is 14 but only petite, some of her friends are quite a bit bigger and I restrict them to one at a time then.

Just got one myself thanks

... However i would have thought the restriction to one person is more to do with ensuring that said person bounces fully and has full control, rather than the diameter of the trampoline and actual space involved. That is, if the mat is already taking the weight of 1 person about to rebound, then when 2nd person hits the mat then they could jar themselves or be more liable to lose control and fall over.

I would think a medium/large bouncy castle is more suiatble if you want more than 1 person on it at any one time.

Good point you should get a job as a H+S officer :-D

fantastic deal thanks

just picked one up from Asda Fulwood

plenty left

looking forward to putting it together tomoz

heat and rep left to OP

What are the thoughts of those that have assembled it? I saw them in my local Asda but the picture looks like the safety enclosure is clamped on and doesn't have legs that extend to the floor. Is that the case as I would prefer the legs to be on the floor for added stability.

Well its says two man assembly required, and it certainly would have been easier

but i put ours together on my own this afternoon in under 2 hours

kids love it and are bouncing away like mad as i type

seems very stable

and i really like the enclosure fitting with the solid top ring

looks great, top deal

Is it the same as this one ??

Very similar except minus the ladder. Also it has 4 'legs' not 3 as shown in the pic and it has 4 net supports as opposed to 6. Personally i think the one in the photo looks less stable. BTW i assembled ours in a few hours today (and i did it all myself - it doesnt really need 2 people to assemble). I just hope it doesnt blow away, since it gets pretty windy down here on the North Devon coast.

Picked one up today from the Bristol Cribbs Causeway store. Still had quite a few available
Thanks! Would have added heat but expired, rep added

Unexpired

anyone know where I could get a ladder for one of these things?

do people think a ladder is a must have?
