Update 1
Now live
Now live : This goes live TOMORROW 04/09/19 - usually around 10am, if not before. Beats the recent Vodafone offer.

Link shows offer but again won't drop until tomorrow, pretty decent for 10GB 4G data and a decent amount of mins.

  • Data: 10GB, with data rollover
  • Monthly Price: £10 (usually £16)
  • 4G: Faster 4G on average than O2, Vodafone, Sky and Three
  • Minutes: 5,000
  • Texts: Unlimited
  • SIM: Available in every size - Standard, Micro and Nano
  • Wifi: Free at 3.5million+ hotspots
  • Spending Caps: Available as a safety buffer

    • Use your Virgin Mobile phone in over 170 countries
    • Use your UK minutes, texts and data in the EU at no extra cost
    • Pay no more for roaming in the EU than you would in the UK
    • Data caps help you stay in control of your data usage
    • If you’re travelling outside the EU, you won’t be able to use your UK allowances.

    EU Roaming Info

Data Rollover - Unused data? Upto 20GB per month.

Use it next month. That’s just how we roll.
How does it work?Any data you don’t use this month gets added to next month’s data. This rolled-over data will be used before your regular data, so nothing goes to waste.Unused data from one month can only be rolled into the next month, so make sure to use it up to get the maximum benefit.

    Take control of your spending.

Cap your Pay Monthly bill with an amount you choose and stay in control of your spending outside your normal monthly allowances.

    How does it work?

When you reach your spending cap, you won’t be able to use your services outside of your allowances until your allowances refresh, or until you increase your cap. But don’t worry - we’ll text you when you’re getting close.

You can set up a spending cap whether you're an existing customer or when you take out a new contract, and it'll start working straight away.

If you decide to tweak your spending cap, just bear in mind that changes might only take effect from when your allowance next refreshes.

Pay Monthly: The prices shown require you to use eBilling. For monthly price with paper bill add £1.50. Credit check & payment by Direct Debit required

.RPI Adjustments: From July 2020 (and every July after that) your airtime plan will increase by the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate of inflation announced in April of that year. We’ll give you 30 days’ notice of the exact increase.

I have done at times yes...but sometimes it could be below a 1000.
What gets me is it costs virtually bugger all for them to give it.
I just don't like caps on minutes and virgin are probably the only mobile company who do this.

What number did you call and are there any "tips" that you can share which might help replicate this.
I literally just went on the chat on their website. Said I'd been told of a 100gb deal for £15m, within a couple of minutes he came back with the Huawei Y6 100gb 5000m 24m meant to be £30pm but has £15pm Lifetime discount.

I was amazed as I never get these deals!

Only rolls over for one month and rolled over data gets used first.

Bugger! No, as you need to apply for the offer through the cashback site via their referral link.

If I cancel and reorder can I still get cash back? Will it affect my credit rating? Do you thinks it’s worth waiting for the next deal cycle to get better sim deals because I have four hours left to decide!

It won’t go up past 20gb, I had 20 rolled over only used about 7 and next month only went back to 20

Just done online chat and mentioned about deal 100gb 5000min unlimited texts and they replied asking which phone was with that deal and they found it. All went through hassle free. Will check contract when it arrives but all looks good. Good deal! Email confirmed 50gb doubled each month was £30 with £15 discount.

If you mean great customer service by people who know what you are talking about then no, very poor customer service, hours in the phone, happy to tell you anything and at the last price increase they didn’t even inform all of their customers they were going to get price increases.

We had 4 sims, three on one tariff and they upped the price of one of those by 100% some went even higher, told it was because the package was being removed but the other two sims stayed. They couldn’t explain that and said the increase was because the sim was close to using the maximum data, none of them were. However I arranged a new deal on that sim with more data for less money to find it was actually the sim that used the least data. Two hours on the phone and they couldn’t cancel, got passed around and around. In the end a month later their CEO team sort of sorted it but once the credit they added to our account is gone so will three of the sims.
After 12 months will it be same £10 per month roll over?
Worst company ever. Read online reviews before buying something from them. Took them 10 months to close my account properly and they sent me a debt collector...which they then denied doing later on. Regulator was not impressed and they had to pay me £500 in compensation...
re Worst company ever...

Can understand you had bad experience but have been v happy with them over 18 months, so ymmv...

Yes. Last year they overcharged me on Virgin Mobile PAYG, my phone had mobile data turned off and didn't make any chargeable action but they charged me £4. CS refused to help, had to make complaint to the top but they even outsource CEO emails to India or somewhere. They agreed to just a refund and made it seem like I was to blame for at least 10 minutes beforehand.

Still, I joined Virgin Media broadband a month or two back because it's cheap. 100GB for £15 with free phone is so good even with Virgin price rises!
