Good price - just paid £6 for one from ebay.
Why spend shedloads on a media player when my pc plays everything ?
Can't hear it in the TV room either.

NOT Amazon, a Marketplace seller

The mods are reviewing marketplace sellers who have a history of trading like this company. It's the low feedbacks, ie personal sellers, that will not be permitted. was mentioned in another deal .

More bargains on the way.

Thanks for this. Ordered. It'll come in some time in the future.
Now I just need to save up for my HD projector and motorised screen

Strangely enough I ordered this exact cable off amazon 3 o'clock yesterday. I will let people know how delivery gets on and whether the cable actually works. Gizzmo Heaven also has their own website but this deal isn't available from there.

please be careful when buying 10m+ hdmi leads - they are MUCH more dependant on quality components than those up to 5m. I bought a "premium" 10m hdmi lead (about £25) last year which worked great when I tested it - so fed it thru the ceiling joists before plasterboarding, and awaited my new panasonic plasma. On arrival, hooked it up and........got a GREEN picture!. Had to replace at great effort.
Google it first - you may be fine, but as length increases, so does the risk of getting a wrong `un !

10m budget HDMI cable? Anything greater than 3m you need a well isolated cable.

HDMI Extender using 2 x CAT5 is better on a 10m run and signal loss is minimal. I bought a 6m DVI to HDMI cable and the picture is awful and suffers from interferance and colour issues

dont waste money!

Also, if you are planning to use it for a 3d projector, make sure it is v1.4, or you won`t be getting 3d!

Yea I can second that. My brother brought a 15m HDMI cable and tested using sky HD no problem, he then proceed to plum it into his house only to find it just wouldnt work with anything outputting 1080p! He has since brought a more expensive cable which works fine!

Hot! Paid £6 for a 7m HDMI lead from eBay last week but it's not long enough so was looking for a longer one.

Never had any quality issues with budget (< £10) 5-10m HDMI leads while outputting 1080p.

This isnt 100% all the time,

Ive got 4 eBay HDMI cables that are 10m each, and none of these have had any problems, none cost more than a tenner

The reviews are not to good, Suggest it doesnt carry 1080p which is a very big downside. So please keep that in mind if you need 1080p signals.

pretty hot for a 10m hdmi cable.

it all depends on your sources power sending the signal in my exprience. at this price buy one and see dont worry about the wingers

- couldn`t agree more - Giggs hasn`t got the speed anymore and Ronaldo is in Spain !

An update. I thought the service from gizzmo heaven was good considering the price. The cable arrived quickly. The cable works perfectly outputting 1080p from my laptop. But I am simply slinging it over the floor. If you are considering wiring the cable in walls near electrical sources. I would have to recommend a more isolated cable as this isn't particularly well isolated. But for a fiver it may be worth a punt, if you can easily rewire the cable.

Can anyone recommend a good isolated 5m HDMI cable please?
Thanks

I ordered a 10m cable from ebay a while back and found something very strange. If I connected it from my 360 to either of my TV's, no problem. However if I tried using it with my monitor (which is what I bought it for), green picture and loads of interference.

I ordered mine and it arrived pretty promptly. The cable works well between my media centre and second tv in another room. Pretty pleased with my setup at the price I paid :-)

cable never arrived ordered 2nd jan
