From tomorrow spend £60 at Sainsburys and get a voucher for 10p off a litre of fuel

From the 21st until the 27th November

Might work out better than the tesco deal for people with smaller petrol tanks ;-)

Spend £60 for one voucher or get a voucher per roughly £5-£10 you spend on things you can then PP with asda to get the cheaper price? Makes no sense to me

I've read that comment three times and it still makes no sense to me.
Heat for the deal.

Always after i just spent £120 in their yesterday :-(

Now, I thought Sainsbos matched Asdas price at checkout?

Are you saying going to Asda and getting a price promise to match would be better?

excellent deal.

very good, thanks op

tesco's been doing 10p off petrol if you buy certain items, spent £8 buying dairy, got a 10p voucher, rather do £8 than £60

voted hot, worth it if you do your shop at sainsbury

I bought 6 Bottles of Double Strength Squash and 4 Quilted Toilet Rolls (42.50) + Other Shopping to make it over £50
With Vouchers + Delivery it cost £33
I'll get 50p a Litre Off (~£35) and I've got 1000 Points in the bank

Free Shopping FTW

Thumbs down for me as £60 spend required. Off to use my 50p off at Tesco tonight!

You also get a £5 voucher for every £40 spend when you price match at Asda until 9th December. Spend £120 and split it into £40 lots and you get at least £15 in vouchers.

Sainsbury's price match is on "branded goods" only.

Asda's is thus a broader price match, and that shop tends to be cheaper generally. So he's saying "who cares about saving £3-£4 on petrol, when you can just save that by shopping at Asda every week".

And, as ever, it's just someone's opinion.

Sainsburys does not price match at the till, rather they give you a voucher for any difference as a till spit when you pay. This leads to you needing another visit to actually spend the voucher if it would have been any cheaper at Asda. Lost count of how many of these I've thrown away by mistake before I go back again.

Cold, could get a 10p off voucher from tesco for £5

Actually, you can't. Minimum spend is for the Robinsons squash for £7. You are restricted to certain items.

It's not as good as the tesco offer, I think that may have been mentioned in earlier posts but with this if you shop at sainsburys anyway you get to buy what you want and still get 10p off a litre surely that cant be bad instead of spending £50 (approx 30 after vouchers) on stuff you may not want we was lucky the items you needed to buy are things we would of bought anyway but if you dont mind vouchers at tesco you can trade in the 1000 club card points for x2 and end up with £20 so effectively paying next to nothing after quidcos fiver nice find op but it will be hard to beat that, but cheap fuel is cheap fuel.

Nice, should work well along with the 4 weeks of vouchers they mailed me alternating 12p off and £10 off your shopping.

I've got a £70 shop on Thursday and got 5p off a litre of fuel with a £15 spend on medicines and toiletries - wonder if I can combine the money off vouchers

Good post!

Type your comment here...realistically you only needed to spend around £4 to get 10p off at tesco, pull all the 50p off coupons out of the chocolate philli taking each pot down to 31p, buy ten to take you over the £8 then use the ten coupons from the lid, 10p off for £3.10.

why is this deal hot? I just spent £31 in Tesco and got 10p off NOW, and stackable so you can use 5 coupons in one go to get 50p off per litre.

me confused that my deals are always freezing? lol

The tesco petrol promotion has finished now!

That's all very well if you like chocolate Philadelphia! Yuck.

I spent £10 on the Andrew toilet rolls to get a 10p off per litre voucher and after using them for a couple of weeks I've come to the conclusion that they are really overpriced. They don't seem to last as long as the Nicky brand, which only cost £2 for 9 (as opposed to Andrew, which is £5 for 9!).

There is so much rubbish in supermarket petrol that it would need to be 13p a litre cheaper than my local Texaco to make it worthwhile - my consumption is 10% worse with supermarket petrol.
