10xAA Alkaline batteries at IKEA for 99p

Found 23rd Aug 2010Made hot 25th Aug 2010
Amongst their current range of price reductions IKEA have reduced their 10 packs of AA batteries to 99p (from £1.99 I think).

These are proper alkalines, not the 'heavy duty' zinc carbon ones in poundshops. I've found them to be pretty good previously.

I dont know if the Norwegian Ikea Batterys are made from a different supplier but they where rated very hight in tests.

Ha!! Used these in my 360 controller. Had to change them more often than changing games.

Better off with rechargeables. I bought a dozen about 6 or 7 years ago and they're still going strong after dozens of charges.
Saved me a fortune.

Not true (typical usupported HUKD comment!).

See links kindly added by rohanch - IKEA batteries stated to be best value and now they're half price. Yes, there are better batteries out there but these are pretty good (way better than any zinc carbon ones). Supports my previous experience too.
