First post hope it's not already on here. I have found this today and seems a very reasonable price. I ordered online for collection and I didn't require there store discount card either.

Excellent price for that capacity. hot
Damn good price! I am going to need one of these as well but having only just ordered our first family tent it seems too far down on the list :/
This any good for a solar setup?
Iv just purchased a new leisure battery myself and it's a minefield, so much info to absorb to know what's good, what's right, what's wrong etc. I paid £88 for a Varta battery that has a cycle capacity of 200 cycles. This particular one only shows 70 cycles... in short that means the battery can be drained (probably to 50%) and recharged 70 times before it starts to die... no guarantee obv could last longer.
Just putting the info out there for anyone who might not know what the cycle amount means.

I got mine from Tanya
First time I used them and battery arrived next day, if i recall something like FACEBOOK5 got me an extra 5% off, should be easy enough to find with a quick google search.

Give yourself a slap
I paid £65 at Battery Mega store which is local to me. They charge £7.50 to deliver next day.
A 110ah is fine with a 100w solar panel with MPPT. I have this set up and my panel puts in 9.6 amps when the battery is under load running my waeco fridge
will last about 1h with a converter and a 500w grinder. Good for cutting locks and gates at night

Not to teach you your business but try the Ryobi R18AG-0 ONE+ battery operated grinder, same cost as this battery and your can break through 3x as much gates at night and less weight to worry about when you need to abscond in a hurry
I didnt realise these things only had a 70 cycle life warranted expectancy....doesn't seem good value?
I bought THIS one a few months ago for £60... seems good but I have not used it enough to review it.

That's 70 totally flat to totally charged.... keep them topped up (or better than flat) and they'll do 100s if not 1000s of charges...

I'm not sure if that's correct Rooster, I just had another look and it says "70 cycles at 50% depth of discharge" which means when it gets to 50% used it should be recharged.
As I understand it if you ran it to 30% charge (70% discharge) then you reduce the life span potentially bringing it down to say 60 cycles instead of 70 as you drained it more than its spec which can cause damage to the battery which cant be repaired.

I'm not an expert in this by any means am just regurgitating info iv been reading over the last month or 2 so feel free to correct me
What use is a battery that only discharges to 50% ? Ive known folk have these things for decades, and mistreat them... still do the job.

Good luck with yours, I bought 4 135Ah batteries from the same seller, same make - "Pro-Bat" and they've quickly lost capacity. I treat my batteries well (500w solar, MPPT controller, charge monitor, never let them go below 50%), previous set lasted years, this set will probably need replacing after 12 months. I suspect the seller just sticks different labels on the same batteries- they all have the same dimensions.
