Basically, you have to post a few letters (around 5 or 6) every week for them, and log a few letters received (again, around 5 or 6 a week) onto their online system.

£11.52 FREE stamps every month (12 First Class + 4 Large First Class) Presentation Pack every quarter, daily Prize Draw + occasional other gifts such as mini eggs and a yearly diary for small amount of Royal Mail survey work

In return, you get 12 First Class and 4 Large First Class stamps every month (worth £11.52), a Presentation Pack of stamps every three months, occasional bonus stamps or gifts, a yearly diary and occasional prize draw wins if you have average luck (there are 14 daily prizes of £10, and a monthly £750 prize).

Easy money for the small amount of work involved.

How Quick is Royal Mail?

10,000 people at addresses all over the UK participate in the official independent measurement of Royal Mail’s service.

TNS Research International is commissioned by Royal Mail to deliver this project.

We’re always looking for more people to take part by representing their own postcode area.

Interested?

To find out if you’re eligible and receive more information about the project (including the incentives that we offer) please complete this short questionnaire.

Sign up through the link provided, and in after a few days you should receive this email:

Hello,

There is an opportunity for you to represent your area on the Royal Mail Survey.

This project measures Royal Mail's service and helps them to identify specific parts of their network that require improvement. About 6,000 panellists participating from business and residential addresses post items to each other. TNS Research International calculates how long it takes for Royal Mail to deliver those items.

We'd like to invite you to join our panel of 6,000 panellists for a fixed period of 6 months during which we'll ask you to send and receive a variety of letters. In exchange, we will send you a monthly incentive of 12 x 1st Class stamps and 4 x 1st Class Large Letter stamps, 2 sets of Presentation Stamps, and entry into a prize draw to win High Street vouchers.

Even if you are not available at this point in time, we'd be grateful if you would let us know either way by clicking on the following link:

Thank you,

Royal Mail Project Team

I am doing it for them you must keep on top as the trackers report back if you do not through the system worst part is preparing all the posting items .

Been doing this for 3 rounds now - about 18 months in all. Takes me about 5 minutes 2/3 times a week, so 10 to 15 minutes a week.

Signed up the last time this was listed on here, still waiting for them to make contact.

I've just received my first letters today, literally took 5mins to complete. Got my first letters to post next week.

are you sure this is no kind of scam? i am a bit hesitant....is there any risk involved...is there some fake company asking us to post something on their behalf which may be illegal?

can someone who have taken part, please help me with answers

There's no scam here it's official, google it and look at the reviews.

Nothing illegal in the packages as you have to prepare and open them so you see exactly what's in them.

The idea is to see the quality of service being provided and if they are meeting their targets.

LINK DOESN'T WORK FOR ME!!

Been participating in this for last two months and got no free gifts, stamps or anything. Fed up with it now.

The website you have to use to log letters sent & letters received is poorly organised and really confusing.

Can't be bothered with this nonsense. No wonder the Royal Mail is in decline.

I did and I'm on my 1st week of it

I did this.was ok for a while then they start ramping up the amount of postage items and deliveries. Not worth it unless your are next door to a post box as it is time consuming and is cheap labour for tns research.

Thanks, applied. I wouldn't have a use for the postal stamps though!!! oO

assure you no scam as avf... explained it...#

I have been doing this for few months I am on my third unaddressed survey and already got £5 each for the first two so that's £10 for logging junk mail on line for the first time, for the 2nd and now third I have been posting them in the SAE they provide. It has been going on for years and like you I was a sceptic but after reading reviews on MSE I joined last year. It has been going on for so long that on MSE had to create second thread with all the updates from the first one. I haven't done what the veterans been doing posting what they send you on time and in correct format. I hope this helps and if you join Good luck.....

signed up thanks.

says I didn't answer the question after I do the post code and confirm the city...

Do either of the following:

1. Phone them up.
2. Email them.
3. Put yourself on a continuous holiday in the holiday section of your account.

I have been doing this for about five years and it has all been good. I also get £10 a month for doing unaddressed mail and correctly delivered mail which are not subject to the 6 month limitation.

Signed up last time when this was posted appox 2 months back. Still waiting. Anybody knows how long will it take?

I've just completed my "tour of duty" (you do six months and then have to wait six months before you can apply again). I got a Jane Austen stamp presentation pack at the start and a dinosaurs one at the end along with the monthly stamps and I also won a £10 Love To Shop gift shop on the daily draw on one occasion.

What you need to bear in mind is that they'll specify when you're supposed to post your letters (could be before 10am, 10am-1pm or after 1pm but before final collection). They'll also specify that the letters should be sent from a post office or from a letter box. I work in town centre close to a post office and several letter boxes and my lunch break is 12:30 - 13:30 so this wasn't a problem for me. You could post outside your specified times but the letters contain electronic tracking devices so they'll know!

I too have been doing this for a while....about 4 years now and the stamps come in very handy. I do the correctly delivered 2wk survey aswell which is £5 shopping voucher a time and I find the survey really quick and easy. I do have a postbox nearby which helps. My friend signed up about 4 months ago and was accepted - but has only just been contacted to start the survey....obviously they were waiting for a 'space' for him. My personal experience has been good and I'm surprised to read some of the above comments oO

They'll want an even geographical spread of panelists across the country so it would depend on when a vacancy arises in your area and how many other people are already on the waiting list.
