Thing is, you could have one thread with the following comments from different users:-

'Vodafone are useless-really happy with 3'
'3' are the worst. Gonna move to Plusnet''
'Plusnet suck-love vodafone now'
'EE, what a nightmare. Tempted by Virgin deals'
'Virgin. Please die. Going back to 02'
'02, can't wait to leave-EE were much better'

My conclusion. They're all great and they're all bad.
Luckily for me I now own 15 smartphones thanks to Mr Switch so I have a different sim in each one from every provider out there so I never have an issue getting reception.... my only issue is the size and weight of the rucksack I need to transport them around with me 38528737-VTIbo.jpg

Seems a common theme, can you not ring up and ask?
I've been on 6Gb for £10 for ages. Just switched!

Switch by name, getting people to switch by nature

Sorted. 9GB for £10 from next month.
What's the coverage like with them? Do they use another provider?
Plusnet used to be great then for whatever reason the whole EE 5G thing happened and it became truly horrendous....don't do it
I just switched 3 sims last week from Plusnet for that very reason
I’ll be ringing later to sort mine out 8gb for 10.50 with price increase 3 sims too

They don't have access to 800 mhz bands on 4G so 4G coverage in indoor and crowded areas will be poor. Mine reverts to H+ in these places

I've never had an issue with any of the ones I've been with, I've been with three, EE, Vodafone, virgin, all fine for me.
Great deal - heat.
Does this allow tethering? Can’t see anything about it.

Wow, where'd you get it from, I'm in need of two
Also have smart cap so you don't go over your monthly tariff if you set it to £0:

I'm on 4gb for 9.45 if I go for 9gb @£10 do I
keep the sim I have now?

I'd imagine so yes.
I honestly thought plusnet could not be beaten with regards how many times they change their sim only offers, even confuses their own staff with some for existing customers only and some for new customers only then BT mobile decided to change their sim deals even more than plusnet with secret pages, hidden deals, different order urls and only some deals available via cashback sites. Make sure to take screen shots, one positive i would give plusnet ,although not sure it still applies is that they used to have a countdown timer on the deals so you knew exactly when they expire unlike BT mobile when it can disappear at any time and usually does.

This is a major issue, I put my mother on Plusnet and I am on BT, compared signal and hers was so much worse in multiple locations. Moved her to Sky which isn't much better given how slow O2 data speeds are.

I am pretty sure that's required by law

Yes. It won't be an immediate transfer of tariff. It'll happen on your next billing cycle.

Done it many times
All done switch in 2 weeks extra 5gb for 55p (•‿•) thx

Cool
Myself and some of my family are on Plusnet and have been for some time. There are a couple of issues / restrictions that you need to be aware with Plusnet, which may or may or may not be a deal breaker for you.

1. Plusnet do not support text message short codes. So you can’t enter most competitions or interactive things on TV etc.

2. There is no facility within Plusnet’s basic voicemail to find out the phone number of a person who called and left a voicemail but didn’t
leave a number as part of the VM. Pretty much every other mobile provider I have been with (and I’ve been with a few) had such a
facility, why Plusnet don’t provide it given that it is fairly basic facility to capture the number and have it played back, is a mystery. Obviously if the caller has purposefully withheld there number then fair dos, it shouldn’t be captured, be available under those circumstances .

If these things aren’t important to you then go for it, if they are; then Plusnet may not be the provider for you.

Edited : corrected some typos.

Why shouldnt be able to do it logged in

they must be trying to sell you somthing else
Gotta love Plusnet for the ease of plan changes - bill down 50p and data up by 1GB. Curiously though I had to be put through to retentions, it’s usually handled by the CS rep.
Good deal switchy however sky offers 10gb and you get rollover. Rollover should be standard now for data. I’m still on the £1 a month deal. No 4g though apparently.
