12" balance bike
next step up from a 10" bike
we have this one for our son and he loves it.
its very smooth rolling and sturdy. well designed and the rear brake is very good. the front is easy enough to adjust to allow small hands to reach the lever and pull the brake on easily which on some other bikes seems to be the thing they overlook on children's bikes but not so in this case.
its cheaper than the almost identical carrera model except it doesent have mudguards

As someone pointed out earlier an easier and cheaper solution is buy a normal bike take the pedals off and when your rider has got his/her balance put the pedals back on.

yawn. as I pointed out that is just a poor bodge up of doing a balance bike. it would do nothing to help your child gain balance. read my other post for the reasons why on the 10" bike.
try doing it and see how difficult and cumbersome it is compared to a proper balance bike.

so what is your solution for a 8-10 year old or even ab adult that can't ride a bike? Can u get stabilisers for older kids or adults bikes? No so most bike suppliers do advise to remove the pedals. I think u should view the YouTube videos

These are great little bikes. Our three yr old will go for a good three miles on without a moan. Wouldn't get that on a peddle bike!
