12 Bottles of Brahma for £8 at CO-OP (66p a bottle)

Found 26th May 2009
just popped in to do my usual shop when saw 12 bottle boxes of brahma going for £8.

the best deal i had seen previously on brahma in co-op was 5 for £4 and is usually pretty dear at other places.

If you're a student, poor, want to impress your friends with your exquisite palette and fed up of drinking carling then its well worth giving a try. Such a nice lager.

ps, not sure if local deal to crwys road cardiff or nationwide.

nothing to do with the post, but the crwys road co-op has theeeeee slowest cashpoint in the world!

perhaps you're a giant or it's for people in wheel chairs

Not the best lager in the world, but better than the Carling/Carlsberg crap.

HOWEVER!

It's summer, so who cares. This is a perfect BBQ beer.

Used to sell this in the night club I worked at. At one point I must have had over 100 cases of the stuff in the cellar. Couldn't shift the stuff.

Haha, no doubt. The manager was charging £3.45 if I remember correctly.:whistling:

The previous Co-op deal for Brahma was £4.49 for 8 x 330ml bottles:

So this is a bit more expensive, but still a good price if you like this beer. The Co-op stores round my way have cases of 12 x 330ml bottles of Peroni for £9.99, which is pretty good for a genuine imported beer (which the Brahma isn't, despite the lovely bottle).

For those interested in different types of lager, 500ml bottles of Tiger Beer are only £1 in Asda and I've seen 640ml bottles of the same lager in a Sainsbury's Local for £1.06.

yeah that was a great deal, wish they would re-do it, but this is also better than what they normally do.
