I know where I am going on the way home tonight :):):)
Wasn't in my Tesco this morning- so NOT national.
Holy smokes. What an incredible deal. I absolutely love Estrella. Hot hot HOT
This is my new favourite beer, need to go to Tesco anyway. A little detour down the beer isle I think
Damm! Thats a great price!
Cracking deal, but drinking one now, after a hard day on the beach and its 5.4% here in Spain?

See what you did there😏.
Is my beer of the moment too. Bought 4 from the Co Op for £4.50 on Sunday. Sure it won't be nationwide though....
When you say nationwide you must mean except Scotland as we now have minimum pricing

Yep. There will be no more national alcohol deals on here anymore. We are going to need separate posts for Scottish "deals". M&S did deliver cheap beer to me last week right enough, after the law changed. But I can't see them doing that again.

Most beer is weaker here now because anything 5% or more is taxed more.

Was talking to a friend who works in Tesco about this. They were saying that they can't even reduce the price of damaged packs of beer, with maybe one missing etc. These are all being binned now.
Anyone checked any other shops can't be arsed moving haha
Just checked Elmers End - £12 or 2 for £20

I had no idea they would be that strict. That’s such a waste. You would think they could still keep within minimum pricing per unit by reducing it less the can/bottle missing at least? I am not a drinker myself so I don’t know the full ins and outs of it.

Think about it though. The retailer wont be too bothered - the profits made on the other lines of beers and ciders will more than cover the few they cant discount
12 or 2 for 20 in carlisle. Checked at till

It's nothing to do with that. The reason they can't reduce it is they are already selling at the minimum they can going by the law. They have no room to manoeuvre, where as before they could price it at what ever they want. Anyway, I wasn't too concerned about tesco profit margins, I'm more concerned that the opportunity for me to pick up a cheap broken case of beer has been removed for ever.

Also the increased price won't be for the benefit of the supermarket, they won't be making more because the price has went up. They will be making the same and the government will be trousering the difference.

Not true. The retailer in Scotland will take the difference over the old price as a profit. The tax take hasn’t changed. It’s a minimum price in Scottish law that has to be conformed to.
£12 in Crawley

I find that quite surprising if true.
This price isn't correct. The nationwide deal is currently 2 for £20, so when you pick up the singe pack it will scan for full price £12. This is either a mistake at this store or a member of teh public messing around. The product isn't being delisted so shouldn't be reduced to clear.
Picture looks like its been taken in the warehouse. Im calling BS
Does anyone know if this offer is available at the Fox & Goose Tesco in Birmingham
Thanks for any help:)
£12 each or 2 for £20 in Llantrisant
Full price in my local Tesco although £2 cheaper in Sainsbury.
Full price in 2 local EXTRA , and asked to check nationally and its not being discontinued either.
Looing at what the pricing sign says, it's not even for that product, but not clear enough to say exactly what it's for.
Did see 4 packs of bottles for somewhere around that price.
Just been to wrexham - all gone
