It's not an up to date course though. There's far better using modern workflow, but they aren't free. There's definitely jobs using PHP, Bootstrap, JQuery, but I wouldn't be looking at learning them now. Semantic HTML, CSS / Grid / Flexbox / SASS or LESS, JavaScript / ES6 and React and maybe Svelte is the way today.

I have no idea what anyone is saying...
Thanks, found a course i dont actually own yet!

On a serious note, the courses i have actually followed are very hit and miss, and im wondering whether actually a poorly written course can actually be bad for your development and teach you bad habits.. Just a thought.
Added Python 3 also..

Thanks OP. I already have a few but some of these dont give option to add to cart (just says "web exclusive") , and the others maybe code expired? Showing 21.99 on quite a few.

It's very likely you get one life and your 75 years on average are all you'll ever get as a conscious being, but you can never say never. Regardless what do you want to do with your life, it's up to you. A huge amount of people do the 9-5, do the family thing, go on holiday to the same place everyone else does and they think of things that happened in the past and they wonder about the future, and they miss their life because the only life you really experience is the present, this is all there ever is. Learn to experience now and to improve your future always, and this is important always learn new things. So decide what you want to learn and find the best resources
Sounds like an Alan Watts memorandum...

Possibly although he was a flawed character, alcoholic. Likely a victim of his genes. Too complicated to make a judgement. We're all flawed in some way. Anyway no excuse to not try and make the best version of you possible.

I've been a banker, guitar teacher, food factory manager, IT Technician / Retail and now IT Manager. I'm studying Front End at the moment, I'm also interested in Robotic Process Automation.

I actually loved this comment until the last wee bit.

Do what's important to you.
Just discovered my company has an agreement with Udemy making their entire content available free to employees. I had to install Udemy Business and validate my account through mycompanyname.udemy.com.

Worth checking if you have it.

Same. But keep in mind you only have access to specific business related courses, not every course on udemy...

Worth also reminding those of you who have access via work, think to download any certificates of completion if you want to keep them (if at all possible) as im pretty sure you lose access once you leave your company.

Php jobs aren't going anywhere btw, but yes the courses that are several years old are often out of date especially JavaScript courses. Html not so much, semantic html going for years now.

That said, one of my favourite js courses is an old one and although outdated code in parts it's not exactly rocket science to flip to the new standard.

I'm happy to watch these older courses if they have some cool ideas / patterns, that's what's inspirational for me

But yeah.. I do see 2016 on a udemy js course now again and wince

i'm 52 and released my first Android app 2 years ago. I love learning but I try not to take anymore courses (on programming), instead I Google my problems and an answer is usually found on StackOverFlow.

I'm currently working on a machine learning app that recognises images. I've trained my images and changed them to a format that should work on Android but I can't get the models to work. It's doing my head in but I'll get through it eventually.

Coding is much more fun than watching TV. It might top up my pension one day

BTW check out meetup.com, I love the site and attend several meetups per month. I always get a nugget or 2 plus it's a great plae to network and get new ideas.
Any codes for Selenium?
