£2 per issue?? You havin a laugh, was 50p at peek when I was a kid, got the choice of beano and Dandy or 50p pocket money a week, chose my comics
More like £2.50 or £3.50 when there's assorted plastic junk given away with an issue. This is a good deal. Heat.
So if I purchase the WWE Kids Magazines, after the 4 issues am I billed for another subscription or can I walk away?
just curious do mods or eds (in your case both) get paid on this site? btw love any deal that promotes actual reading material for kids (and big kids)

It was 10p when I was not this old! tempted to buy one now to see if I have moved on with my humor! (probably not) rip Doddy
It was only two old pence in my boyhood . 120 issues for £1 .
You know times have changed when getting the beano for £1 is a deal! It was about 50p for me too. Kids magazines in general are so much more than they used to be.
I might give wwe kids a go. Its the only magazine they still produce and usually come with nice gifts. At £2 each it should be worth it.

Or 10 loose ciggies
I was in the Dennis the menace fan club, and it was like said earlier only 10p an issue
The old beano's were the best. I am talking pre 90's. Now it's all too PC.

In the old beano, Dennis's dad use to use the slippers a lot if you know what I mean, but this day an age its not allowed.

Hasn't the menace part been dropped? If that is right, what the hell is the point of the character now!

Boo! I assume this is on all magazines? The WWE Kids ones are usually in bags.
Edit - checked and no such disclaimer is on the WWE one thankfully. Its usually a fiver so 4 for 8 quid is a bargain even just for the merchandise

I used to pay 10p for it and alternate between this and Whizzer and Chips....
Moved on to Viz later.

Mr Logic, Victorian Dad, Sid the Sexist, Speccy Tw**, The Fat S***s etc.

50p was when I stopped reading, think it was 25p when I started, Numskulls was my favourite

It's not 'not allowed' - there has been no edict from on high - The Beano moves with the times, kids aren't slippered nowadays and teachers don't wear mortarboards. The Beano is still great, my kids love it (as do I!), and if I didn't already subscribe I'd love this offer.

2 pence for me young one
Says you can pay via PayPal, you go to check out and it asks for card details only, no other option. I'm not going to be providing them with recurring card details so voted cold

Great deal - gutted I paid £68 for a year subscription last week as would have def gone for this. Have some heat
thank you, got this deal last time round and its just finished so perfect timing
It’s a one off payment. No recurring fees. I signed up last month for 15 editions for £15.
Damn. People in here really can't accept inflation and that times change... You was a kid back then...now you're a miserable old sod who hates change...
Tsk tsk - wouldn't catch me reading this
18p in late 80's/early 90's. I used to get around £3 pocket money a week, so was much cheaper in comparison
Heat added - nice memories, this and a 10p mix up! Sadly when I moved out my parents threw out my entire collection of various magazines & comics. I even had a first edition Beano (from my uncle - I'm not that old!). My kids want multimedia (is it even called that any more!) - they binge on YouTube now, comics are ignored, they still read real books though despite having Kindles!
Beano is a weekly comic apparently. So three months supply then.
Great deal thanks OP. My eldest has loved reading The Beano and will be sad when the offer ends. Its great that the weekly comic experience has been shared with another generation in my house. Another duty as a father ticked off.

DC are still pushing the 7pct discount on subscription which isn't worthwhile over getting the mag locally , especially if there is a free gift included. Downside is lose a regular subscriber.
Suspect it get samey after a while (much like private eye or viz).
