I got attacked on here for saying a mixture of dry and wet food is what many recommend for a cat. I even provided sources but the moderator deleted my comment.

Aww I got this right away I think set a notification on here for cat food and also ordered 5 lots today on subscribe and save taking advantage of the 20% vouchers for Sheba and whiskas as my 3 have decided they don’t like croci stuff at the moment or the applaws fussy wee buggers
Ordered for the local RSPCA, great deal!

That’s silly. I would have thought most people know cats are better to eat a mix?
We have 2 cats (well, one is 10 months old and one is 1 year old) and they’re both fed meat (MACs) in the morning and evening and have biscuits throughout the day.

Even treats are dry food so I’m not even sure what this person’s problem was. It wasn’t my deal, it was someone else’s they were moaning on. But my comment got deleted because I told them don’t you dare speak to me like that again. They were saying I was stupid etc so I got really annoyed. Yet I’m the one who got told to speak to people with respect
Missed out doh

Dry food is good for their teeth so I’ve no idea what the problem was. Fancy living your life with no grit and just soft prepared food in gravy. They have teeth for a reason.

Haha, I have so much of the chicken one to get through. Wish I'd bought more of the tuna and cheese one as my girls seem to prefer that one. I split a can between 2 kitties for their tea.

My vet did tell me that it's better for cats to only eat dry food (better for their teeth she said). However, my cats love the wet food, so in the mornings, I put down a small layer of dry biscuits and top this up with a sachet of wet food each. For the rest of the day, I feed my cats (a one-year old and a 13 year-old) dry food which they don't seem to mind.

Same thing here, mine isn't keen on the beef or chicken, but loves the fish.. Absolutely stinks though.

I have to give my female cat wet food only and add water/laxative to it too as she has mega colon.
She cant eat dry food as it will stick inside her .
She had to have surgery twice and the third time she backed up they avoided surgery by uning alot of enemas but she was badly shaken from it.
Cant afford it to happen again .

My tomcat gets a mixture of wet and dry so these nuts will be for him ,should keep him going a while.
