Am I picking this up wrong from their website ?

motorbreakdownrecovery.com/bre…er/

Full UK coverage is usually from £33 so not the discount they suggest

you need to buy from group and then apply the voucher code.

Topcashback giving 52.5% discount on a new policy.

Has anyone used these people? Why the negative votes?

Why so cold, what am I missing

I know that, but the discount isn't as high as they suggest

Cold votes probably based on google reviews of 1 out of 5 stars.
Other websites seem to have them rated around 4 out of 5, I guess the problem is, if your broken down miles from home, not the best time to test whether they are any good.

I have these as my breakdown cover couldn't recommend them enough. I had to use them once were dead professional. Was told the driver would ring me as soon asap which he did within 5 minutes. Turned up could see what was wrong with took me to the garage where I got it from got it sorted within about two hours of the initial break down.

me too, just bought a one.

I've been considering getting one, after having a car breakdown last week. Had to get a private company to tow it. The first one quoted £150 within 10 miles radius, but eventually found one for £50.

Voted hot, thank you OP

Worst company ever, don't waste your money. Go with RAC mention you work for Wincanton (they don't check ) to got 50% off any of there policies.

With these for the past year but can't comment on how good they are on call-out as not used the call-out. Did trade in one of my covered cars and emailed them to update details - which they did no hassle (I bet most would ask for an "admin" fee like they usually do as a rip-off. So I recommend them so far but not used for an actual call-out.

Just looking if I can use this deal to renew as mine expires next month.

EDIT - Was going to buy as looks like it a voucher which you can use to renew / or wait until expires then use voucher for another 12 months...however I have 2 vehicles to cover and the link to renew only lets you input one vehicle. Says one vehicle per policy so would be £38 effectively.

I have direct experience of 2Gether - bought this deal at £19 via Wowcher last spring and had occasion to ring them a week ago when we broke down on the M25 near Heathrow. They answered right away, the bloke on the phone was very professional and helpful, and the recovery driver showed up within the 90 minutes they advised. We were transported home to Bedforshire with no problem (car dropped at our local garage) by a real gent too. I compare this to my daughter who waited on hold with RAC literally for almost an hour before her call was answered a couple of months ago (other similar stories from her friends) and have nothing but praise for 2Gether.

Autoaid have always been superb for me, (have used their services 4 times now). but I'm always open to alternatives since Autoaid prices have slowly crept up each year. So thanks OP & I'll look at this deal when it comes to renewal time.
