This deal is available on-line for £16 plus a £5 bolt on,

quick phone call to their head office on 0800 358 4314 and they gave me the lot for £13 per month instead of £21 per month

Didn't really have to do any negotiating, just asked them if they can discount any of their on-line deals

Thought I'd post in case it helps anyone

great deal if you can get it

Don't forget you also get 'Feel at Home' when you are abroad in the listed countries. I used my phone for browsing and phoning home from Italy this year and it didn't cost me anything extra. Feel At Home can currently be used in eighteen countries including Australia, France, Italy, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, Spain and the United States of America.

yeah that's what made me give 3 a call just got back from a weekend away with the lads in Dublin and I was the only one who was charged for calls.

This isn't any kind of deal in reality - simply because it isn't on general offer. What you can get out of Three will depend entirely on what they know about you, your call history, and a host of other factors.

Deals also vary from day to day, person to person, and hour to hour. I was offered all you can eat data, calls and texts for £12pm a couple of weeks back, but a day later the offer had been withdrawn. He who hesitates.........

Cheers op, will have a look cus son's out of contract with them, but none of their offers match what he had on last contract for value (unlimited everything) so still paying original price, but without phone upgrade oO

I currently have a 3Sim. If I rang up would I just keep my Sim? or would they send out a new one? Ta

OK, super unhelpful X)

Does that mean I'd keep the same sim and number?

Decent plan. O2 want to charge me £19p/m on similar allowance. PAC received.

got it for £15. cheers

Still got callcentres not in the UK? Usually this isnt a problem but I always had issues with three.

So you've got the 3 'deal'?

Does 3 get o2 coverage yet or will be getting it? some parts of London there is none (or was none) can anyone confirm please.

So you've got the 3 'deal'?

No, not yet. Just waiting to see if O2 will call back for my custom if they can beat this deal. X) Doubt they will by past experience. Plus only recently got text that O2 were bringing 4G & upgrading 3G services in my area. I'm on old legacy O2 3G tariff only hence can only see H+ at best with Moto G 4G. Also get text allowance 4:1 for picture messaging.

They should do in the long run, but at the moment Three are rollout out 800mhz 4G (a lot better building penetration and also signal goes further in rural areas) and are the first mobile phone company to allow you call and text over 4G.

At the moment there are are limited phones that support this but Three are enabling more.

They call it SuperVoice.

Don't think it has started yet as yet merger to be finalised by the Authorities. If all goes to plan I predict it will go live half end of 2016. I've got O2 contract but also Three PAYG. Three PAYG still connects to Orange when 3G coverage is poor tested with Nokia 100 (2G only).

Thanks!

Three kicked me off the one plan last week and offered me unlimited minutes/texts and 4gb data for £10 per month.
The 4gb of data obviously is less than the one plan but for an additional £5 per month you can add another 4gb.
I was using about 7gb per month on the one plan but that was with no restrictions on background data or updates. I think using a bit of common sense I can easily be under 4gb every month.

Does anyone have experience with negotating with three when you're on a rolling monthly contract?

I'm paying £18 a month at the moment, this is a great deal - wondering the best way to get it.

Are they not doing The One Plan anymore?

I'm on the all you can eat data plan and I've been told they will contact all customers with this to get them off the plan.

Spoke to a disconnections colleague who told me the company can't offer discounts, only money off phones up front. Been with them for ages and they can't offer me anything.

The £17 sim only all you can eat seems the way forward.

No, this is a contract. Contract starts the moment you agree to the terms. Deals always changes. If you want this deal then you have to agree to cancel your old contract & pay remaining balance with 30 days notice or by porting over your number over to Three early at network providers discretion.

Yes, I do.
And it's very bad experience. I'm long time client with whole my family on Three network. Usually I was able to negotiage good deals, especially when asked for PAC code. Not anymore.
They don't care. "So, you want a PAC code? Here it is, good bye".
They also tried to force me out of one of the deals I negotiated long time ago. So far unsuccessfully but already looking where go to.
And probably will choose ID Mobile. First - it's the same network (best coverage in the places I'm visiting, surprisingly) and more EU countries with free roaming. I would be happy having more options (not a big fan of Carphone Warehouse) but business is business.

When you connect to Orange you can't use data, and the system has been scaled back pretty significantly, so a lot of places don't have Orange fallback.

True, your at the mercy of the retailer to pay up + it's never guaranteed until the cashback is in your bank account.

Anyone remember P4U where some new customers just only signed up contracts with cashback deals just before the company went into administration? What about the older customers that had remaining months left of their contract? Wasn't a pretty sight I'll tell you with many ex-P4U customers out of pocket overall. My local exP4U store is now a Virgin Media store now. X)

Would have been so simple just to apply a cashback credit per month on account while in contract without all the hassle but we all know enterprising retailers don't want to do that as they're relying on customers to forget or been lazy & keep the extra cashback to themselves. It's all about the monies you know. X)

Now where's my time machine gone? Scratches head...
