Following expiry of the £3.83 per month deal, this one looks the next best bet, although a poor substitute

Why do people T-Mobile and Orange, they are the worst for signal across all networks.
You said it 'poor substitute'

It was but they have cancelled the £50 CB now it's a tenner so poor substitute.
Well, this may not be as cheap as the earlier deal but it is still a deal, so is it hot? Well, there are slightly cheaper SIM-Only offerings around at the moment but this isn't at all bad and it's a LOT cheaper than any other T-Mobile offerings at the moment (or in the recent past).

Basically there is no cheaper way to buy a T-Mobile SIM-Only deal atm so I think this deserves some heat!

FWIW, I've added it to the SIM-Only deal summary.

Obviously not as hot as the earlier expired deal with more quidco cashback but still a very good deal IMO.

Heat added.
this sounds like a good deal to me.
inspired by this deal, i called t-mobile and asked to switch from my monthly rolling contract to a 12 month sim deal and got offered this

£6.50 pm for 300 any network / voicemail/ 08 numbers minutes + 500 T-Mobile minutes + 5000 text. My current monthly rolling plan is £12.50 pm for 350 any network + 300 text + unlimited internet (500MB) so I was well pleased as I don't use the internet since my phone is not a smart phone.

thought i would have to leave t-mobile as their pricing for new customers is terrible since the beginning of this month but they seem to offer good deals to current customers upgrading.
Am i right in saying you can get £20 cashback via quidco for SIM only 30 day contracts?

if so, you can get a sim only pay monthly 15 with 300 minutes, 5000 texts, 500 tmobile minutes and add their standard internet booster for £20.50 per month, after cashback... paying 50p per month!

am i missing something?!

50p the first month then 20.50 the following months - not good im afraid
Never had a problem with T-Mobile , like the guy above said it depends on your location as it does with ALL networks.

Hot
Where I work, Orange is the only network that is visible. However, with the 3G sharing, T-Mobile is just as good.

However, the building is built like a giant Faraday cage...

i dont like the name of the network; its not very inventive.
i don't like it
I have this deal and it works very well for me and the mrs as with the 500 tmobile mins.

As for signal, where i like in manchester I was on o2,which was very poor, Tmobile is excellent so it all depends on where abouts you live.

apparently, t-mobile's signal is horrendous in mancs
good deal, never had any signal problem with t-mobile.
T mobile very good in cambs area
I paid 7.50 for 12 month sim deal unlimited internet, 600 mins, 500 txt
Looks good, anyone recommend the best value pay as you go t-mobile phone deal at the moment to go with this? I'm looking to upgrade to an Android phone with a good battery life
The only thing that stands out to me is the 750mb a month of data , I used 400mb over the last month but would class myself as a light user (email, browsing), anyone using a android/iphone to its full potential would go way over that, but heat added for the price.

Couple of people have said that, but where I am in prestwich and the mrs in eccles they are the best,,when we was on o2 we found the call quality poor with lots of weird noises, where its crystal on Tmobile with no calls dropping,,no im not old and deaf :D:D:D hahaha,,whats that you say!!!

But another good point is my mam lives in the middle of nowhere in wales, and its 1 of only 2 networks that gets a signal (voda the other)
I have been on Orange for donkeys. Great 3g signal where i am.

Never had a problem in edinburgh, newcastle, cambridgeshire, befordshire or London

Are the sales reps open to a bit of deal negotiation? Currently on a Tesco £10 tariff.
T-Mobile = incompetent bunch of liars.

They (allegedly) have a reputation, more than most companies, of telling untruths to customers over the phone to close deals or simply get them off the line. There's been tons of stories posted on here and other forums about it.

They even made it into the news the other year when a couple of their employees were caught selling customers details for personal profit.

Here's what happened to me last week. hotukdeals.com/mis…230

I've had the same experience with O2 - you can't say it's specifically with T-Mobile. I found O2 will say anything to get you to stay with them, the moment I told them I'm taking everything away from O2 over to T-Mobile / Sky etc. they started throwing me T&Cs, cancellation charges, then offers etc etc and they never even gave me anything for loyalty (not that I was going to stay with them for another year, their broadband was fast but unreliable and then became TOO expensive compared to Sky). End of the day, my contract expired, I had the right to move so I paid nothing and they couldn't stop me.

My loyalty discount however for my T-Mobile line technically expired back in November, but with 1 quick phone call I had it re-instated for another year - so I'm paying £6 a month instead of £15. I find they're not much of a hassle because they'll just do it for you - especially since my track record shows that I have been just activating a discount on my line, regardless of the fact that I've changed price plan 3 times now. The people who I find cause the biggest rackets are those trying to beat the system some how.

I had a friend who had a massive argument with T-Mobile because they refused to give him unlimited mins/texts/web for £30 a month (this wasn't an offer, he just called them up and said "this is what I want"). At the end of course, he got it because they do just give in (after about 8 hours during the week on the phone mind you as well as spending that whole week complaining about how **** T-Mobile where because they refused to listen to his very unreasonable request) - but I find that the people that complain the most are the ones who have £10 in their pocket, but expect to buy £20 worth of goods through no logical reason.

Everyone is giving it blah, blah, blah about previous deals that were better and signal this and signal that, the fact remains this is definately a good deal for what is available at the moment. Heat added, good find.
i got my sim through for this deal yesterday , i rang to confirm my package i was on , one women said it was £10:50 a month, another said £5:50 and my online account said £16 odd a month, after talking to a manager he told me it will be £7:70 a month, so just a word of advice check your bill to see how much they are charging. also got told my first bill will be slightly higher as started mine towards the end of the month
when it's gone it's gone.. and it's gone, please expire.
expired
wonder if quidco cashback will suddenly go back up to £50 on 12mth simonly deals again now...topcashback remained £50.50 during the past week.
Is this deal not available even without Quidco now?
