i have been told these come in at a tradeprice of around 20p - talk to your local chemist (probably not a boots or lloyds type, but u can try)and you might get a better deal

A good deal for the hayfever sufferers of
which I am so glad I am not one of.

oh god is it that time a year again? nose will be dripping like a tap!

Hopefully these are long dated because I don't know anyone with hay fever that suffers for 12 months a year!!

Extra 6% off with quidco or TCB

Excellent price! Gonna stock up early

fab deal I suffer with allergies all yr round and pay £3a month thanks :-)

Same here was down to my last pack so have ordered

I pay 15p a box and order at least a years worth at the end of summer, probably can't get them for that now but I suggest people who need these stock up around September/October time

benadryl(acrivastine) work better though, these seem to do little after taking them every summer for years

I ordered before the free delivery. They came on about 3 days with over 2 years on the expiry if that helps...

Also, on the same site, 12 months supply of the non-drowsy equivalent, Loratadine, is £9.99 although there is a delivery charge of £3.19.

Cetirizine IS non-drowsy. In fact, last time I used Loratadine I had to take 3 days off-sick from work due to the drowsy side effects. I was in bed and felt uncontrollably weak. Cetirizine on the other hand, causes me no issues whatsoever.

This is a good deal but I have found that taking a teaspoon of sugar every day keeps my hayfever & rhinitis away just as well & pleasant to take as well. Do try it!:{

It also helps the medicine go down...or so it's been said.

And now back to your day job at the Sugar Marketing Board.

Eating local honey can apparently help too, something to do with the pollen or some other sciency stuff.

These can also be used for people like me who have dust allergies.

I am one of those poor sods who needs these every bloody day otherwise i am blowing my nose like a champion and constantly sniffing.

Drowsy/non-drowsy refers to whether the drug passes the blood-brain barrier. Cetirizine does so is drowsy, loratadine doesn't so is non-drowsy. That said, people will sometimes have a bad reaction to non-drowsy antihistamines and be unaffected by the drowsy type. Loratadine is better for most people.

Also, with regards to the deal, you can usually buy antihistamines online for between 30-50 pence per month so this isn't really a good deal. Even taking delivery into account (which is usually free if you spend over 30-ish pounds, which is easily done at an online chemist) you'd still be better off buying from somewhere else

Afraid your logic regarding blood brain barrier is nonsense. Both are in the 'non-drowsy' class of antihistamines. That said, some people may experience drowsiness, though this is often more to do with the symptoms there are trying to treat than the medication. Neither is better, try them both and see what works.

Best of luck ordering from a random online "pharmacy" or as it's otherwise known, a lockup storage unit where all the placebo "medication" shipped in bulk from China is stored and shipped to victims, I mean customers.

Silly people.

hot paid about 12-13 quid for these last month but needed them asap since ran out...

Bet these will be 20-30p per box by summer time though

Would buy smaller quantities. Last time I ordered a years worth from these, they only had about 8 months left on the use by date.

They sell these in my local independant chemist but charge around £4.50 a pack

Good price and heat added. Luckily I get mine from the GP for free.

Same here I don't get it every day and only use them when the runny nose and sneezing get out of control. Def non drowsy and work very quickly. Hopefully they have long dates.

Does anyone have any other non- drugs which control the all year round allergies. I have noticed a big drop in my sneezing since washing the carpet and getting rid of dust. Next step will be moving from carpet and going to wooden floors

We have wooden (well fake wood) floors and my wife sneezes continuously. The dust is much freer to move around and we are continually sweeping. We are going to move back to carpet.
