    For anyone else having trouble it was due to having my store region set to Turkey which didn't have a payment method linked. Changing it to UK with the Turkish VPN on fixed it

    This video doesn't talk about getting 12 month gold from other regions, just your local region which is a more expensive method.

    Make sure you don't have a current gold subscription

    1. Buy 3 X 12 month Turkey gold from cdkeys
    2. Turn on VPN with region Turkey
    3. Open new incognito chrome browser
    5. Log in and enter code from cdkeys
    6. Repeat for the additional 2 years
    7. Now shows Live till Feb 26
    8. Log out and close incognito browser
    9. Turn off VPN
    10. Get the 1 month eBay listed above
    11. When code emailed after a few minutes log onto microsoft.com/redeem in normal browser
    12. Enter code from email
    13. Authorise zero payment in banking app
    14. It now shows Ultimate for 3 years

    After almost 3 hours I did it 🙏
    Stacked 3 months via urban VPN. Couldn't add a month ultimate when on Xbox. Got a global ultimate month from eneba.. didn't work🫣 got a Turkish ultimate month which also wouldn't redeem even using VPN again 🫣. Changed store to Turkish but couldn't pay for it 🫣. Tried global code while in Turkish and bingo. Now stacked to 2026.

    Purchased and followed instructions using Surfshark. I'm getting error when trying to redeem and saying that the code has already been redeemed. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

    I've just successfully done it on Android phone, really easy actually, even for a numpty like me.
    1: buy Turkish Gold membership via this post.
    2: Recieve instant code via email. (Copy the code)
    3: Download Urban VPN app on Play store.
    4: Open Urban app and select Turkey as your location.
    5: Once VPN is active, follow this link redeem.microsoft.com/ *.
    6: Paste code, job done

    I managed to stack x3 12 month gold (Turkey) onto my xbox using Windscribe VPN. The issue I have is I can't convert my gold to games pass ultimate. I get an error message that my gold is from another region.

    I have tried with Windscibe VPN set to turkey, Tried changing xbox region to turkey, tried with VPN in UK & I tried with no VPN.

    All methods failed, all with the same region error.

    Do I try using a different VPN's?

    Buy two 12 month gold subs and redeem. Get 1 month GPU either a trial or paid if you've used that before to upgrade the 2 years of gold to 2 years of GPU

    Yes you can, so if you buy 3 years worth of gold you can covert it to 3 years worth of ultimate using the £1 conversion.

    Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page or device, or you may be ineligible to redeem this code.

    Download URBAN VPN and set your destination to Argintina , but don’t sign up for the vpn just use the free trial, then using incognito mode in the Google chrome app log in to Microsoft redeem a code but make sure that your signed out of your account first….when you sign back in to your Microsoft account you will get a message from them asking you to confirm your mobile number that is linked to your account as they suspect suspicious activity on your account…..once you have confirmed it you should be good to go…..(y)

    Other sites like livecards/eneba sell 12 months gold too. Just choose Global/Europe UK version. It will state if it will work in your region.

    Get message about store region not being right? 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Change Xbox region to Turkey

    Now I have done these kinds of deals in the past without any issues, try to do this one on my kids Xbox and it’s not worked as I expected…….

    Does ANYONE have an actual solution to the above issue….. 🙏🏻

    Like I said to someone else on here I heard a rumour that Microsoft are trying to clamp down on these types of deals so I think this might have something to do with the issue that we all appear to be having at the moment…..(confused) (edited)

    Took me a little while, was getting messages that i was not in right region. but eventually got there following the tips above.

    Used Urban vpn (nord didn't work)
    then used chrome incognito to sign in. On mobile.
    (Difference this time to the times it failed, is I had to confirm suspicious login via 2FA)

I redeemed the Turkish Gold subscription fine using URBAN VPN and changing my location to Turkey but i am unable to upgrade to Game pass ultimate (using a global GPU 1 month code) as it requires me to enter a payment method based in Turkey...

    I didn't have to enter payment details, or change my location. Only used Urban VPN set to turkey and then incongito mode chrome browser, using the redeem link.

    I guess you're going to have to enter a payment method, or change it back to UK, or both? You cuold maybe use a international card (like revolut) to set up a turkish payment???
