    how does it work then? i thought microsoft would only let you have gamepass upto a max of three years but expires in june 2022 if you get 3 years worth xbox live and convert it to gamepass which mean you will only have game pass for 2 years and 10 months or is that wrong?

    Are we still able to get 12 months of ultimate using this code from Cdkeys by upgrading? And aren't you tied into paying £11/month fees for ultimate after upgrading from XBL?

    I recently converted a 3 month Xbox Live Gold code into 4 months of Game Pass Ultimate (extra month for not turning off recurring billing).

    Not in my case, you can turn off 'recurring billing' at any time, however as stated above - they give you an extra month if you do not do so immediately.

    Nah, once it expires you can apply just a Gold subscription.

    I'm not even thinking that far ahead, to be honest. I've got three years to accumulate enough Microsoft points to keep the party going a little longer.

    If you can still do this it's a no brainer!

    Tbh I thought the offer had passed. I was one of the lucky ones that had subbed up gold to close to the max and then converted it all for £1

    NEED Ultimate game pass? If you don’t have a decent specc’d gaming PC ultimate game pass is a waste of money. I know gamers who literally only play 2 or 3 games a year. If you have an Xbox one and a gaming PC then ultimate game pass is useful. But no one NEEDS it.

    Not too sure as I've always done everything via the console but you should able to do it by logging into your account via PC or similar. This person might be able to confirm @BuzzDuraband‌

    No. One you've converted and you then buy a 12 month card, it will give you 4 months GPU

    The maximum you can top up / convert is 3 years. So be weary of accepting an extra month for automatic renewal, as that will just mess everything up (assuming you're going for the full 3 years, if not, bonus month yourself away).

    3 months and 1 months are the same, 3:2. So 3 x 1 month equals 20 x 3 days and obviously 3 months is the same. It's the 12 month that's the loser at 3:1.

    Struggling to understand this. So I need to renew my sons xbox live subscription. I’m going to buy this 12 month one. Once I’ve done that I pay just £1 and it will convert it to an ultimate account for 12 months ?
