Was just looking on my console for the pricing of Live Membership and came across this price via Games & Apps > Memberships > Xbox Live.

It does state that you will be charged the £26.50 now and then the price reverts back to £39.99 every year after. I guess you can turn auto-renew off after purchase.

Answered your own question buddy. I/we had Xbox live from day 1, they don't need to give us deals, they know for fact we will renew 🏻

My sub runs out in 12 days, been Gold for as long as I can remember. Thought it was for everyone as the 1 and 3 month prices are still £5.99 and £14.99 respectively.
Sorry had to vote cold as most if not always account specific.

Well I can only check my own account for pricing
Can I get this deal if I sign in from my computer
The deal on my dash is 3 months for 8.99

Same here
user specific, cold!
Mine is 3 month £8.99
Typical, preview dash user in the fastest ring.
Testing the newest dash update.
Live has just expired and no offers for me.
There's a button that says something like "Don't miss this amazing offer" which just takes me to the standard prices. Would love 3 months for 8.99.
Voted cold due to account specific deal.

Where does the OP mention he is in the insiders updates?
I got the same deal this week. I usually always bought an Xbox live gold membership card and redeemed it. I've never used their subscription service, so it might be that? I got it about a weeks before it was due to expire.

Sorry, I meant me. I'm an Xbox Live Ambassador doing my part for Microsoft and yet I'm apparently not eligible for these discounts that many are seeing.
Cold, always account specific. Never get any offers
Sorry but cold as only account specific and has been there forever.
Nothing was offered to myself then again I haven't had xbox live since 2013.

True, but now that you've been informed, wouldn't it make sense to clearly state that it is account specific in the title?

I personally always vote cold when a post doesn't clearly state that the offer is account or store specific. Conversely, I always vote hot for a post that informs the reader if it is account/store specific, even if the item in question happens to be a warm dog turd reduced to a quid.

I had this on my dash before before my live expired, first time they have ever offered me a deal. Plus I was able to stack so bought 2 years worth.
My membership was due in August, was shopping around couldn't find anything that stood out that was cheap so clicked on my Xbox gold membership and there it was £26. Took it straight away membership kicked in when the other ran out in early September, laverly.
I dont see how these "user specific" deals get any heat. It like me posting that my mate Dave will do an M.O.T. for fifteen quid but only for me and his brother.

Pointless really

Surely if it raises awareness for someone to check and possibly get the deal it deserves heat?

Every deal on the site is user specific isn't it? Should people without kids vote down every post for baby monitors or cots etc just because it's not applicable to them?
It's possibly linked to whether they have your payment details. I only pay with Xbox credit from vouchers and won't give them my card/paypal details. They love having easy ways for you to buy games and DLC.

You can't pay for live with credit
Showing full price for me also. My subs ran out in July. Although just noticed a tile that said 40% of 3 month membership + Get GTA$500,000 in GTA Online.

That took me to the Xbox Live screen were it has:
1 month £5.99
3 month £8.99
12 month £39.99

Got this a couple of weeks ago and TCB of £8 tracked the next day.
I got this a couple of days ago. Was previously on a 12m prepaid code from cDKeys (or similar) due to expire on 9th October. Home screen of 360 had a black 'GOLD' advert saying "you don't want to miss these deals". £26.50 for another year, redeemed on dashboard. Have turned off auto-renew on MS Account. Hot.
Thanks, mine expires in 10 days and almost bought another 12 months through CDKEYS (or similar). Would never have thought to check if there was an offer on the Xbox, as normally never is for me but, this offer was 😁 so thanks OP
Thanks worked for me!
40 for me but thanks anyway as I got offered 1 month free trial, which I accepted. If I buy Star Wars Battlefront for the offer price of £3.75 will I be able to still play it after the 1 month free trial finishes?
It's given me the £2.99 Month offer twice, last month & this one.
