Just had the email.

Apologies if posted.

Not a bad deal at all, and payable each month, not the 12 months in advance

You threatened them with a Norwegian lake and got a refund?
To be honest I think for the amount of decent films around at the minute even £69.99 seems too much!!
I just realised I was paying £11.99 p/m for Sky Cinema. When I went to cancel got offered 3 months free.

Same however I was offered Sky cinema for next 3 months at £2.49 pm
What's the offering like? I have so many services already, I wonder what Sky would have that I wouldn't already have access to.
My offer is same thing for £69.99 might go down
I only get the 69.99 a year 'deal' 😔
Same as most, £69.99
Good deal but I was offered a better deal over 3mths by threatening to leave and will most likely get the same again towards the end of my current deal. Maybe advisable to try this tactic first before taking up this offer.
Have just logged into my Now acc. and shows the following offers
12 month movies 69.99
12 months ent. 59.99not bad offers

My £2.40 pm deal for movies ends soon so might go for this. Be better if they threw in the boost pack for 1080p though.

I got the deal for 6 months last week but was automatically applied to my account no code etc. My previous deal was coming to an end so likely for those customers whose deal is coming to an end.
Why are they approving so many of these posts? It’s a wild goose chase.

*Frawd sorry
If you don’t want 12 months some good deals on Amazon, got one last week for £2.99 checked at the weekend they were £3.99 and after cancelling got 3 months for £2.40, cant post a link as the company was banned for self promotion. They also have the entertainment pass for £1.50 use but it’s not just can only be applied to an account once, cancelled again and got offered it for £1.80 think that could be for 6 months but would need to check.

Now tv only works on a few devices, I won't subscribe until they bring it to me, not buying devices as well as subscriptions.

Sky Cinema is almost always the first to get new releases from the cinema, usually after 9-12 months. For example, this week's main premiere is Rocketman, which was released in cinemas in May last year.
That's a good price. Watch one movie a month same price as renting a newer film on Amazon Video etc. I will defo sign up if offered. Heat to OP

Same thing happened to me but I noticed after a month!
just rang to see if owt available, kept hanging on phone so cancelled the movies, got netflix and prime which I never hardly watch
Hot. My personal offer is 8.99 per month for 6 months...just a bit of a difference. Sigh
Great deal. Received via email today. Very tempted. Only thing is I stupidly have sky downstairs and unable to download the nowtv on there as kids watch netflix.

Ok, but compared to what? I have Sky Cinema, Netflix and Amazon Prime atm, and if you're going on the basis of well known films that were released in the cinema in the last 12-24 months, then Sky wins hands down. Netflix has it's own productions (of varying quality) and Amazon Prime only really has a few must-see movies and those are usually quite old. Yeah, there's a lot of rubbish on there too, but isn't that the fault of the filmmakers? Whether they're good films is entirely subjective, anyway.

been sat here for a few minutes just laughing at the original comment and the response. classic. this is going to be one of them comments where it the most awkward time, i'll remember it and i'll suddenly start smiling trying to hold myself back.

yeah, they have a 3 months for the price of two on that but it's poor considering most other services have it and surround sound included. Plus I've found the amount of good new releases to be sparse recently
I just cancelled movies to get this deal but then it offered me £2.40 per month for 3 months,
I canceled before and was offered 3 months for £11.99 but it took £11.99 the following month also so beware of that deal
Excellent deal.
