Normal price is £17 but for existing customers they bring price down to £13 a month. Over the phone they offered me first month for free and when I went down to their store they offered me £10 Sainsburys voucher instead.
Seems like pretty good deal for £13 and 12 month contract.

So you basically paid £13 for a £10 Sainsbury’s voucher?
You've got some 'textes' posting a deal like this...!
£13 x 12 = 156
- £13 (one month free) = £143
- £10 Sainsburys voucher = £133

£133/ 12 = £11.08/month

deal was 1 month free OR the voucher
I have chatted with their customer service and ask them to upgrade my PAYG sim. They have treated me as a new customer with normal price of £17.
I have also tried to access to the deal for existing cutomers. no luck .

It all depends how long you've been with them. I think it needs to be at least 6 months.
It makes me laugh when people vote cold for this deal when that deal:
hotukdeals.com/dea…406
got 264*

And this one which is only for students and even a bit more expensive:
hotukdeals.com/dea…346
252*

well have to to live with that
Forgot to mention with this deal you get: 6 months Apple Music for free and 3 months BT Sport

but who cares...

It is totally upto the person who serves you. I bought my PAYG sim last year and register that straight away.
