Cold, online gaming is free on every other platform.

Sometimes you have to pay a premium. Considering the problems other online gaming networks for example PSN have I'm not sure everyone will agree with you're reasoning for voting cold

I think you'll find PSN quite expensive when someone else uses your credit card details

I'm blushing at the thought I might still be thought of as "console generation" age.....!

Are you seriously using a Call of Duty game post Modern Warfare as an example? CoD has been an Xbox exclusive since Micro$oft realised it was a gold mine for exploiting chavs and 10 year olds. The ports are just there for an extra pot of gold.

Your reason for voting cold is spurious, regardless of whatever other platforms do.

This is a good instore price for this particular product. Fact.

Shame that people feel the need to point out that xbox live costs everytime one of these deals are posted, understandable that it costs but if your not wanting to pay it then just **** off.

I enjoy xbox live, my friends have it so I have it. Thats why I pay and if I enjoy what I'm spending my money on then I'll continue to do so.

£25.49 for staff until wednesday with there staff discount

Agreed. It's not funny, original, or informative. It is guttersnipe trolling, absolutely pathetic.

Good price & you don't have to give out your bank details to microsoft to purchase, which has got to be a plus

Yeah, you said "every other platform"...

Nice one.

An idiot, striker33 is.

£30 is a bargain for what you get, its not just online gaming!

Hot price for current availability. I managed to get the £1 per month deal and paid £12 for a year.

Striker33, you are a tool. Your reasoning is like saying a Ferrari F50 for £1 is cold because you can walk somewhere for free.

Grow up.

I watch Sky on my Xbox which to me is more than worth the £29.99 per year compared to a proper sky contract @ £60 per month.

It's a good instore price - but I've seen Xbox Live regularly available for £26, not to mention the £1 per month deal...

why is it EVERYTIME a deal is posted about X, people who like Y or Z start bitching?!..
its a good deal. save your fingers... you'll end up with Carpal tunnel syndrome at this rate.

I managed to get that deal as well but only bought 4 months before it ended

Good deal for instore price. For Sainsbury's colleagues - dont forget to take advantage of the limited 15% colleague discount. Brings it down to £25.49

Skullking1300 the £1 per month offer is subject to continuing to buy a 12mnth membership afterwards.

I'be just purchased one of these from my local store, East Prescott Rd, Liverpool

Not it's not. It's meant to be but you can just cancel the renewal through Paypal.

You get what you pay for. Xbl is by far the best online console gaming platform when you look at features , performance and xbl exclusive content both game add ons and live titles.

How long was psn down for ?

Where's the cross party ame chat ?

It's total garbage compared to xbl.

No need for console wars on this thread.

Its not a war, Xbox is better lol, no serious, good price, but I'm sure you could pick these up off eBay for a similar price still?

£29.99 for Xbox Live plus a Sky subscription. I've checked the Sky website and I can't see how it works out cheaper. The way you've worded your post implies all you pay is £29.99 which I realise is not what you mean.

What a stupid comment! It's a good price, enough said.

I like xbox live, prefer it to free psn even though I own a ps3. My mates use xbox so I'd rather play with them than be a loner plating on my because it's free!

I don't know if it's because I'm out and had a few but some people are really annoying on this site...if it's a good price for a product (never mind if you approve) it's a good deal!

Great price need a new gold for my son, will check local store tomorrow

voted cold.
if you ring them up they give it you for £24 and you can tell them to turn auto renewal off.

Get a sky id and just put it on your xbox, free sky, only pay for gold.

So nick some one else's Sky ID then? I looked on the Sky site and you have to pay to get a Sky ID.

How do you get a sky id?

greenmachine12

How do you get a sky id?

Steal one or pay for one it seems.

i use my xbox 360 for gaming and the sky player paying £29.99 is well worth it
i will be looking in sainsburys for this deal as my xbox gold ends in 2 weeks
will be voting hot

ADD ME ON XBOX FOR COD: BLACK OPS & KINECT SPORTS
gametag - TRUMANS 360

One ID per xbox console for sky player, no sharing codes. And that ID allows you to watch what packages you have subscribed too for free.

No sky movie package....no movies on sky player

No sky sports package...no sky sports on sky player

ETC

It's not a bad service as it has a larger selection of free VOD movies than what they just cycle on the sky box..only issue is in a recent xbox update they took away the option to view by category which makes it really annoying to choose a film now.

AFAIK your sky HD box can now utilise this same lot of films if you connect an ethernet cable to it.

Only thing i think ps3 has over xbox in terms of features is the iplayer, itv player and 4od, which i find priceless

Wish people would shut the **** up and just vote hot. This is a deal, because its £10 cheaper than anywhere else. It has nothing to do with liking or hating Xbox, its just a good deal, fact.
