12 Pairs Moisturising Lining Glove
Material: Cotton

My sis has told me (less than two days to go before her birthday!) that she'd really like a hand repair mask as a gift.

Thought these would be a good last-minute purchase (Prime delivery too, phew!). Think these "beauty" gloves are 2 for £1 in Pound Shops, not sure what the quality is like.

Reviews on Amazon look good.

I know that people who have working hands (eg nurses) or skin conditions wear these gloves regularly, with their preferred Hand Repair Cream, overnight.

All I need to decide on is the cream, and will buy one in town tomorrow! Any recommendations from skincare obsessives would be welcome

I can see Sanex Advanced Repair Hand Cream 75ml £1.95 at Superdrug (less than half price) superdrug.com/Bod…205

Happy, smooth hands to you all

If you have loads of time to spare (unfortunately I don't) you can get 12 pairs for £2.94 from China, though reviews for this listing are a little mixed amazon.co.uk/gp/…new

Also, Amazon Warehouse has 3 of these left - "Open Box - Like New", Cath Kidston Flora Hyacinth Hand Cream, 100ml £1.83 amazon.co.uk/gp/…TF8

ona serious note, if you just want to use them as a skin wrap, you can just use cling film (source: i'm an eczema sufferer)

Beware if you have any allergies, as they're not 100% cotton - they also have some kind of stretchy component that's not listed. I personally preferred the two pack from Poundworld, but my branch seems to have stopped selling them.

Can only go by their description, but it's implied they are 100% cotton. Will see what arrives.

Okay, you could have said that Either way, if I'm not happy with them I'll complain to Amazon. Like I said, it's a very short notice gift bundle I'm putting together

Think I'll buy the 2 pack set from Poundworld/land tomorrow, to compare them, as well.

Bit embarrassing to admit to!

I confessed what I'd done to Amazon & they refunded me

I know someone who puts EVERYTHING in the tumble drier, even his cotton t-shirts, and he moans they're too small for him after a few washes - you'd think he would work it out by now!

random. I was searching for these last night! I work all day in latex gloves and its messing my nails up big time, especially combined with the amount of sweat my hands produce when it's hot....nice! I heard cotton liner gloves would help,,,,,.anyone got better suggestions?

Who else likes looked at the thumbnail image and thought "Michael Jackson"

The best hand cream I've found is this : https://www.amazon.co.uk/OKeeffes-Working-Hands-Hand-Cream/dp/B005PA0UV4

Not the cheapest but definitely the most effective.

There were a few I saw mentioned on a nurses' forum yesterday (mind you, it was an American website). One mentioned a cream called Lotil which is an old British remedy (never heard of it!).

Another was Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream.

I've heard of O'Keefe's, will see if I can find it on my travels today

This O'Keefe's tub is £5.39 (free delivery) if you can't get to a Screwfix. Don't know if I'll be able to make the trek up there today, I'll try early on tomorrow ffx.co.uk/too…eam

Edit: Actually, £5.18 delivered at Amazon from a third-party seller amazon.co.uk/gp/…new

£4.99 on ebay ebay.co.uk/itm…905 (4 left).
