these batteries are def not heavy duty, they barely last a few days in most toys we put them in. and not really a deal as they are always that price in poundland and have been for years. my local poundland does kodak ones in 12 packs and i find these are a little better

i bought these for canon camera but wouldnt work!! buy the duracell ones in poundland they last ages and yes work in cameras !!

You are right but wrong. They also stock Sony Heavy Duty Batteries - these are the NEW Ultra Heavy Duty Batteries which have 12 for the price of 8 ;-)

these are Zinc-Carbon and not Alkaline
they are useless

brought some without fully looking at all comments - absolute rubbish - in my camera the whole pack took about 10 photos and that was without flash

Buy rechargeables, not cheap land
fillers like these.

Absoloute crap took 1 picture with digital camera and battery died same with the rest.Muck!

Good price but I'm waiting on the "super ultra fantastic extra heavy duty paid" ones to come down in price.

12 AAs for £1 is pretty damn good

Except they last for 2 seconds, They sound good but boy I would rather buy a lottery ticket!

I bought a couple of 12 packs a while back from one of the places online.

From what people are saying these aren't great for high drain applications like digital cameras.
However I found they worked well in low drain applications like wireless keyboard and mice, wii remotes, etc.

total rubbish avoid like hell

most usless battries in the world, if they was 1000 for a quid it would still be a rip off.

Cannot understand why some people think that 'cos you
get a lot of batteries for little money then they MUST be a good buy.

We have bought these and they are pants. They don't last long in any toys, torches etc. I would not even be sure they are genuine Sony, they are so bad. Home Bargains have cheap, quality batteries.
