thanks op

So £9 for some additional maps for a game you've already paid maybe £40 for. Puts into perspective what a rip-off these CoD maps are.....

PS Not voted either way.

The high price of COD maps aside, £9 for 1200 points isn't bad.

Hot!

I won't be buying the maps for Black Ops. I'm beasting up MW1 again. The best in the series.

Are you in any way forced to purchase anything Black Ops related, though, or is this like all of the others, and is branding only? Is this not just 1200 points that can be used for anything?

Anyway, you're still better off getting more points per pound by getting the 2100 cards for £15.

Idiot COD fanboys need to learn to search.

AM I the only one who plays CoD for the SP campaign?

The best CoD MP is the original one, which still has a very active online community.

Yes it's just branded points, and like you say, unless you are specifically buying them for the CoD DLC (or something else that costs 1200 points), you are better to buy the 2100 points card.

I just think it's a bit ridiculous that they can charge £9 for some extra maps and people are willing to pay it - I bought the maps for CoD4 when they were reduced (400 points I think?) and though that was about the most they were worth!

To be honest, I think that all content such as patches, maps, weapons, et cetera, should be free, and the developers should be grateful that they're extending the life of their games. Official addons (such as whole campaigns) are OK, as they actually add substantial content, but, like you say, £9 for some maps is outrageous.
