Just noticed in their latest Specialbuys starting 22nd June.

The jury is out on what cells are inside, but with the 3 Year warranty you can just get a refund if it fails after a year or two.

The Anker 13000mAh goes for £30, or £20 when on occasional offer so this looks good value if it's anywhere near as good.

Both come with status LEDs, the rugged one is water, dust and shock proof (IP4) to give you that bit more of a manly feeling.

I'm guessing (Number of Output Ports = Total USB Ports - 1 )

Very handy for festivals, thanks OP

I was about to post this as it seems like a great deal!

I seriously don't think it can be beaten on price, and with the warranty its a keeper.

Being Aldi I feel I can trust it, I think!

I've been bitten twice shy. I've had unknown brands as such like this and the capacity is never what it says, charges never hold, kick the bucket with 'powerbank' I would stick with Anker ones to be honest. I maybe wrong and you can always return them if not

Yep, if I didn't have 3 already (Anker + Tecknet) I'd get a couple. Same price as the cheapo ones on Ebay but you get a decent warranty.

Looks a good buy. Unknown brands often use 'landfill quality' recycled laptop cells.

The Aldi tech gear I have bought in the past has always been of good quality.

There are 3 outputs.

just brought one, really nice quality. its soft touch matted black. 3 ports. 2 x 1A + 1 x 2A. 4A total output.

the 2A socket seemed to charge my phone very very quickly!

will try see how many charges I get of my Nexus 5 and will update.

I'm guessing it's fairly well sealed so not easy to see what 18650 cells are in there?

I bought one yesterday and have noticed that on 2 of the USB ports its quite difficult to put the cable in. not sure if any one else has the same issue or its just a faulty one I bought. your thoughts will be appreciated, cheers

Bought one yesterday as it's worth a go at only £15. The 12000mHa power bank states it's good for ~500 charges, that with the 3yr warranty is enough reassurance for £15, "landfill quality" or not.

All three USB ports are snug fits, but more reassuring than difficult.

First one to open one up and confirm what cells are inside wins the respect of, a lot of people. On here. oO

Any update on how good this is?

Am guessing it's pretty good as people usually remember to post to complain rather than post to say how good summat is.

I bought one today - had to call Aldis to check stock as they arent always on the shelf - got to ask for them.
Pretty good little item - comes fully charged with 1 usb cable, 3 year warranty and aftersales support telephone no and email contact info.
Nice feeling matt "soft" finish, 4 blue leds to indicate charge in 25% blocks and charged my phone from 2% to 27% in about 20 mins.
will try and remember to update in a few weeks once used it a few times.
Would have been nice to have a wall charger with it as I dont always have my laptop on for ages to do a full charge.

I think most companies now don't supply mains chargers, as it's wasteful, drives prices up, and 99% of people will already have several USB mains chargers anyway.

How many times were u able to charge your device with this powerbank?
