120GB SANDISK SSD DRIVE, much faster than a standard HDD giving your PC a much needed boost, if you have never tried an SSD drive over a standard HDD it may be time to do it now! Prices have been going back up so this price is great right now, it will cost more for delivery if your not on Amazon prime. 240GB also available atonly £74.99 so double the size for not much more.

Damn flash memory has gone crazy expensive nowadays. I got this £30 2 years ago
Anybody know if this is compatible with the Acer Revo mini PC?
Why would this be 'awesome'? There is no reason of course, it is a just worthy item at a reasonable price, so I have voted cold because the OP has exaggerated his/her claim.

"it is a just worthy item at a reasonable price" - the definition of a good deal perhaps?
Surely that should be the reason for voting, rather than down-voting based on the use of the OPs vernacular?

I don't think so, a worthy item at a reasonable price is what one would expect to find on the shelf at any competitive vendor's store - I don't think that would count as a hot deal at all.

HUKD does contain the odd (but quite rare) nugget, but mostly one has to trawl through tat - it does not help subscribers find good deals when posters exaggerate their claims.

I bet you are a lot of fun at parties. Or should that be gatherings as parties require a certain level of entertainment to be classed as such

Seconded. I see many deals at what I would call everyday prices at best and even at few at downright outrageous prices and question how the OP ever considered it a good deal in the first place

This is at best a everyday price scenario and if it had appeared a mere 12-18 months ago when flash memory wasn't overpriced it would have gotten deep frozen and laughed off the site.

That aside I still love HUKD and it constantly amazes me with those little nuggets of a red hot deal on a pretty regular basis, just wish people would do even a rudimentary price comparison before posting and we would get a lot less of the 'meh' ones....

I agree wholeheartedly that HUKD throws up the odd gem that makes it worthwhile, and I think the self-help (information) part is really good. It is irritating that probably 90% of posts are either not particularly deals at all, or just regurgitate commercial advertising - I'm thinking of the Lidl food, KFC, M&S food &c ads that get re-posted every two weeks.

Things change price, the point really is whether this is a good deal now, not 18 months ago and not 18 months in the future.
If everything goes to crap in with North Korea, people will think this was mega cheap.

If you don't understand the comment, then go find out where the the biggest NAND manufacturer in the world has it's factories.
Might actually be cheaper to build a time machine than pay today's nand prices, sadly I fear prices may yet increase further. I'm in 2 minds about this 'deal' but voted hot because a quick Google didn't reveal it cheaper anywhere else today and it's not the ops fault nand prices suck. That said other brand 120gb ssds with comparable speeds can be had cheaper.

ADVICE: if you want a SSD buy one now at this great price as when the stock runs out and the price is back to the the national average of around £59.99 again you will think back to this "told you so moment".

That's what I did, the Revo was faster I used it to play video (over a server) but it wouldn't play X265 encoding so I bought a TV box that would, never used the Revo since but at the cost of SSDs now I may search it out for the SSD, so really it depends what you use the Revo for.
