A triumphant true story from Danny Boyle, director of Slumdog Millionaire. The incredible true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston's (James Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a falling boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated slot canyon in Utah. With only a day's worth of water, a blunt penknife and an unwavering will to survive Aron does everything he can go make it out alive.

Perhaps could have given the date it's due. Also, it'll no doubt be cheaper than this closer to release, so I'll not vote.

crap film, so predictable

This would be a good channel 4 documentary, but not a film.

I couldn't believe it.. they adapt a book about a dude having to cut his arm off after getting stuck between a rock and all they do is have 90mins of a movie of a guy with his arm stuck in a rock.. no twist or anything!

Would of been better if M Night Shyalaman wrote/directed/starred in this

£10 is expensive for a dvd these days.

Needs more American flags, then it's perfect.

...then you discover he never really had an arm in the first place, and that his arm was really just a visual metaphor for his dead twin brother.

(...who, ironically, died during an arm wrestle.)

What a load of KACK! I can't believe this was nominated for best film of the year!!!
