I thought it was scary enough without the Oculus oO I spent the first 10 minutes trying to locate the player's clothes, so the first scare took me badly by surprise

Not as scary as the price of the Oculus Rift.

Horrible, but I'm waiting for a sub £5 price.

Best price yet?

But surely $350 warrants a spider on your face?

Call me a wimp but i think there are some games I'd actually be scared to play with oculus rift.

I think I might be (found it difficult to get past the spider crawling up my arm app)

Cheap price but I don't think this was ever over £30 on the PC....

must be great game , price going down so quick ......

Actually the scary bit isn't the price of the rift - it's the gaming PC you need to have to go with it!

BTW - I seriously advise everyone to lock themselves in a dark room and watch Aliens with the sound turned up - just as a precursor.

Hardcore? Make it a triple bill - Alien->Aliens->Isolation ... :-)

It's normally £31.99 on the Steam Store (I checked before I posted). However, since I've posted, the Steam Winter sale kicked in, but even that only lowers the price to £23.99

A lot cheaper way to play Alien Isolation in 3D VR, is with Google Cardboard(or plastic version) glasses with a android phone or PS Vita

I stand corrected. Can't imagine many people bought it at £31.99 though.

I genuinely thought you'd made up Google Cardboard... a quick Google search has proven me wrong

GOTY on PC for me. (shows the state of PC gaming?)

I quite like my pair, made from pure determination, DIY, and an empty box of tissues

Hmm....if you're living cheque-to-cheque, perhaps this isn't where your excess money should be going. Perhaps you should put it into a....savings account?
