The best camera phone out there, period. I'm was always impressed with the iPhones picture abilities, but the Huawei P20 pro is just miles ahead of iPhone X and Samsung. I feel like a pro everytime I take a picture with this phone. I was lucky enough to preorder and received a free pair of Bose headphones from Huawei. I think we have reached our limits or are very close to it with regards to what mobile phones are capable of, I personally can't ask for more. For me, as a parent, it's perfect.

Is this better than oneplus 6?

I don't think there's much in it.
OnePlus 6 has a headphone jack (vs none)
P20 pro has tri-camera (vs dual-camera )
P20 Pro has a larger battery 4000mAh (vs 3300)
OP6 Snapdragon 845 vs P20 Pro Kirin 970 (no idea which is better)
OP6 has option for 256 GB storage and 8GB RAM (vs 128 + 6)
OP6 has a 6.2" screen, P20 Pro 6.1"

My partner has the P20 Pro and I'm impressed with it. However, the SIM free price of the OP6 is tempting me.

Still in my 14 days coolling off so they have agreed to cancel my contract and let me have this instead - still waiting for them to confirm though.
Seriously temptd by this phones camera specifications but no micro SD Card is a huge let down

Why is it a letdown?
You need more than 128GB inbuilt for what?

128GB is more than future proof. Doesnt need a SD Card.

my problem is.. having contract with EE in good order with 4 months left.. .. they ve said .. they can not match this offer... but also they have said that once I get this offer from buymobiles.net, I will lose my phone number.. because they have to end this contract and give me another one.. and I am pretty much confused.. regarding it. altough.. buymobiles.net still offer this throughout EE

I'm looking to get this but we contract is essential 10 which comes with 10gb data but can someone confirm if this 30gb or 10 GB as it says both please
Very tempted by this phone but I use my headphones with the phone quite often and this lack of jack on recent phones is really putting me off. Can I adapter it like with iPhone, to be able to use my regular 3.5mm headphones?

Even better, think I'm going to pull the plug as I've been on Samsung for a while now but always sick of their low capacity batteries. My S7 Edge is really quite awful now after 18 months and camera just seems plain fantastic on this.

I've gone the same way from a S7 Edge with the same issue, the battery life on it was adequate to poor to begin but absolutely crap for the last 6 months or so, it would have dropped 40% with absolute minimal use by mid morning even with power saving on.
Ordered. Great deal, almost too good to be true

I called and they confirmed this is 30gb. It's been boosted from 10 which is why you will see that in the description.

Yes, you will need to port out to another provider and back again. I was with Voda directly but they couldn't offer anything enticing when my contract came to an end. I jumped on a deal with mobiles.co.uk for a Voda deal. After ending my old EE contract I ported to an asda sim (they piggy back off EE) then back again to the new contract. You'll need to port to a different provider, so in this case O2 or Voda etc. Bit of a pain but it's the only way you can take up this offer I'm afraid. You won't have much downtime as the porting process is pretty quick.
Giffgaff is the best for porting.
They all require a top-up to activate the sim in order to be able to port the number. The difference with Giffgaff is is all done online or via text. No waiting on call centre queues and chatting for ages while they try to keep you on their network.
If this comes by in July once my aim only contract ends I may go for it.
brill. the handset is 799 to buy outright I believe. I have gone for this :))))
Wow, this is a brilliant deal!
Is the phone locked to EE?

Well, kind of. My contract is finishing in june with ee but getting a new contract with ee is cheaper than upgrading but unfortunately they give you a new number but there is a way you can port your number of your old contract.

The first thing you do is get a PAC code from EE (when your contract is run out) and this will give you the ability to move your number to another network like Tesco mobile.

Then, after you do that get a PAC code from Tesco mobile and move it into your new EE sim.
