Could anyone tell me if this can be used in a kindle at all please?

Kindle fire ? They support up to 128gb this card is a bit overkill for the kindle

Unless you require very fast write speeds (usually for devices like 4K action cameras), you could opt for a cheaper 128GB card (slightly slower). This is a premium card for speed purposes. If it's just for storage, you probably won't notice much difference.

get a cheap card for use in a kindle - a standard sandisk is avialable for £21 or a samsung for £23 which will work just as well for kindle use. This is designed for 4k recording and professional camera and video use.
