I’ve been using Verbatim products since the days of floppy disks - well established global company and in my experience, reliable.

They've been around pretty much since the birth of computers, they were pretty much the standard in blank CD/DVD media so I'm surprised you haven't heard them.

It's worth nothing though (like the vast majority of USB brands) they don't manufacture their own memory, only 5/6 companies can manufacture at that scale and in Verbatim case they generally use Toshiba NAND in their products.

When worrying about reliability especially in electronic products, research whats in them rather than the name on the box. A lot of people make the mistake oh well brand A is better than brand B because of the name on the box. A lot of websites specialises in doing teardowns (so just google the product name) and they will tell you exactly what's in them.
anyone know what the real write speed is on this pen drive?

on amazon some reviews are reporting write speeds of 25mb/s, which is okayish amazon.co.uk/Ver…FM2
