Mad price, sure is a lotta phone for the money
Undecided between this offer or the mi 9 128gb at £324.40

gearbest.com/cel…752

Is the mi 9 128gb worth the extra £104.

Also what are the chances of customs charges etc... with GearBest products.
Cheapest its been?
Its like this drops in price every few days!
That's a crazy good price waiting for my 64gb one to arrive would have been happy to pay the extra
No longer at that price? Showing £320 on my browser...
Mad price. Ordered one on the 10th July from a previous deal for £252.

From an experience perspective, very pleased with Gearbest. Email comms were decent, tracking information worked, delivered from the HK warehouse to me in exactly 7 days, no customs charges.

Recommended from me.
Just a warning if your one of the unlucky ones lol the PRO version could be released and delivered by the time you get this.

Like the Pro makes any sense for most people.
Unless you are heavy into mobile gaming (LOL) there is not really much point.
Better battery life with the regular as-well

I would order this now if I knew I would get it next week at this price but I would be gutted if I got it next month / or so ?? And the PRO was released, as maybe the pro would be a over kill for my use has well but I willing to pay a little more for a lot better phone.

Not for me when using the supplied link?
Can't see less than £320. Confirmed on tablet, phone and PC, chrome, firefox and edge
This is a bargain. Had my one for about 5 days and it's very nice.

Does the Mi 9T have the same camera setup as the K20 Pro?

(I'm SO confused by Xiaomi's naming system!)
linmks not wotking due to hukd changing them
Would this phone be a step up from my s8. Am seriously considering an s9+ but I don't know much about these other manufacturers..
Expired?
This deal only appears to work for the op as far as I can see

Really appreciate the link mate. Definitely given me something to think about. Think I'll go see if I can find one to play with at lunch today.

You won't find one in the UK yet mate.

The in screen finger print sensor also does a good job so far, the S8 one used to annoy me with its placement.

Ahhh that's anooying. I'm not too bothered by the fingerprint placement to be honest. It's always been the battery life for me. I'm still happy with the s8 features I mainly want a newer/better battery and a larger screen. I feel all the new flagships are much of the sameness for close to £1k. I use giffgaff also so sim free is the way to go

Yeah, I hear you. The S8 is still a snappy phone, for me it was a means of upgrading to something for not a lot of money whilst getting basically best in class battery life and not giving up the quality screen.

Is there anything to bear in mind when ordering a phone from HK? Obviously customs charges are possible but is there much difference with the phone itself?

No, global ROM and has all of the network bands. Literally the only difference is the plug adapter.

Ok great. Sorry, last questions then I'll let you enjoy your day!

- I've read that the UI is different and not so good. What are your thoughts about moving from samsung/nova (if you did)

- are there are a fair few apps/bloatware that can't be removed? I've never rooted a phone before and not sure I'd want to without properly researching it

No bloat to speak of really, few bits like Mi Store, but these can be deleted.

The MIUI is the same experience you'll be used to, but there are subtle differences like the recent app list which displays differently.

90% of the time everything works exactly how you expect, it's Android after all.

I put Nova on my 9T (didn't have it installed on the S8) and I've got it setup pretty much exactly how my Samsung was, app drawer, swipe up to open it, etc.

Don't be put off.

Appreciate all that bud. Now to hunt for the best deal.
My s8 is in mint condition so it shouldn't cost too much extra to upgrade. I just hate backing up and transferring data. Just had a baby and have so many photos that I'd be devastated if I messed it up
